The Setlist was quite boring but good. I was hoping for some more Rare songs
like Salt Of The Earth or As Tears Go By or maybe Lady Jane.

Yes, I agree, I was really expecting for at least one rare or special song like Love in Vain, Salt of The Earth would have been really special too. But the band seems to be in the great spirits and apparently they have delivered a great show. I'm almost certain that on the second show they will play one rare song too.

Oh no, from Muskoka Lakes in Ontario, Canada. For me, the setlist was a decent one. One can tell from their faces that they had a good time and when they have a good time, they play well. And of course, I love my Stones.

OK?

I really like the way they mixed up the setlist for Hyde Park, no big surprises or anything but I didn't expect that for a huge gig like this. Well done, I doubt anyone will leave disappointed!

Having read all this it was just an ordinary show without any surprise in an extraordinary environment: a missed chance.

I'm sure there will be threads saying that this concert has surpassed the one in 69. Best concert EVER.

Would have expected more Taylor, considering this was the scene of his historic first gig with the band. Hardly seems worth all the fussing and fretting some of you guys have been doing for the past three months over where you would get to stand.

I commented on MJ:s Facebook-page that please put some more variation to the setlist but he apparently understood it wrong and just mixed up the same songs while I was meaning that they should add some new or rare songs to the setlist. I must explain this thing to him next time more in detail. cool smiley

Actually as far as these things go, that's a pretty good setlist.
Mixing up the order of the warhorses helps to freshen things up, and any show with All Down The Line & Bitch works for me.
ATGB & Lady Jane for me are throwaways, for another slow number I'd much prefer Love in Vain, that's far more interesting musically and emotionally.
Of course, right now, it's just a list...I'll have to wait for the video to show up to see and hear what's what but the photos of Mick & Keith beaming at each other bode well.

Yes, All Down The Line and Bitch are really great songs so the setlist is not so bad.

But where was the real ballad or slow blues song, BOB is not really a ballad...

I mean Wild Horses, Angie, Love in Vain, Memory Motel or something, there should be at least one really slower song in the setlist every time IMO.

Here come the second guesser's. It was a great set-list. They mixed it up good. All Down the Line, Bitch, opening with Start me Up. What does this band have to do? What songs to you want to hear? When will you stop? These guys are 70 years old. They are giving it their all. By playing the warhorses thats what people want to hear. There aren't 100 people there who know I got the Blues, or Loving Cup, or even Out of Time, to name a few. Chill people, Chill.
