They will play 10 shows in the NEW Mad Sq Garden

Only if you say, and mean it, that The Beatles are @#$%& amazing!

OK, I will say it. The Beatles are amazingly bad.

I like Ballad of John & Yoko and Lady Madonna. That's it. A lot of their song are sissy.

A great article with the argentinean producer Daniel Grinbank, I used the Google Traductor online:

Daniel Grinbank , renowned music entrepreneur who brought the Stones to Argentina and South America in the three opportunities that the British band came to the country (95, 98 and 2006) infonews talked about the possibility of a new tour of their Satanic Majesties .

Grinbank said he wants to bring the Stones to Argentina by the end of 2014."That's my offer to the band manager (Joyce Smith), which I talk to regularly, a tour of 10 or so shows by six countries in South America: Argentina , Brazil , Chile , Uruguay , Peru and Colombia" . In these last three the Stones never played live and be a novelty . The businessman said that " there is nothing concrete , there is a negotiation at the moment" . And was categorical : " If the Stones come to America, I will bring myself , as I did in previous tours ."

On the other hand , said that the main obstacles to accept the offer is " the desire of the band to keep touring " , "lack of indoor stadiums " in South America and the recent death of designer stadiums scenarios Stones the last tour , Mark Fisher. The Stones did a U.S. tour this year in so-called indoor stadiums ( NBA court ) and also played at the Glastonbury Festival and Hyde Park with fixed stage each of the shows. Grinbank also stated that " the Stones also have people who can do these kinds of scenarios for megashows " .

Grinbank stated that " there is a strong possibility for a Stones tour in March next year on Australia and Asia, and then may continue to Europe next summer, I say this because I have first hand information, from now on the Stones are going to deal with a short string of shows, no more world tours".

Thanks for that George...as has been often speculated here and makes sense. Short mini tours of regional areas...if things continue to look good, expand it after a long break.

Macca's been doing this for awhile and for aging musicians it makes sense.

Rumour has it that the Stones will play at the opening of the refurbished Adelaide Oval in March with the Foo Fighters as the support act.

By the way, a 10-show tour in South America is very much for the Stones, they've never done that much shows in South America on one tour.

If all the rumoured shows take place, it`s going to be a pretty busy year for the Stones smiling smiley

I`d be very happy if they played all the shows, but to be serious - do you really think they`d be playing on almost every continent within one year???

So what's the video that was posted on the mobile app today all about?--the one that shows them all arriving somewhere (in separate cars), with motorcycle escort, greeting each other, etc? It's described as "backstage" scenes, but is obviously in the US as the Highway Patrol appear at the beginning. All very dramatic, with the SFTD percussion, etc.

The comments seem to believe there's some impending announcement, or that it generally must mean something--of course, it might not, or it may just have to do with the upcoming HP release.

Does this mean they'll be adding Dandelion to the set list?

next year is 2014 and not 1995. As much as I would like that the fans anywhere south of the equator get to see them the more I tend that this is only going to happen on a short trip, but not weeks or months. if it is going to happen at all. We'll see

How is it that an actual single, Dandelion, never ever gets played?

I mean NEVER!

This is a quote from a Mail Online article I posted yesterday, regarding Rod Stewart's 'cash demands' for a potential Faces reunion. The 'They' is referring to the Rolling Stones :-

‘They are arranging dates around the world,’ a source added. ‘They will also headline the opening of Australia’s revamped Adelaide Oval cricket ground next year.’

Of course...That goes for all of us, I was 18 years younger. It was just a reply to that "never been done before thing"

do you really think 1995-2014 (only 19 years)makes a difference with those guys?
Mick&Keith will be only 70 years old...ronnie something about 67...and Charlie is ...charlie.
No,probably in their 80´s they possibly slow their speed....i mean possibly
There is still 10 years+ 1 year from Bigger Bang to today....and it takes same time they are 80.
I can´t understand nobody who does not understand their unique in aging.

true, but it's pretty safe to assume there are some back room negotiations going on now regarding a 2014 tour. whether they materialize or not is anybody's guess.
