I love Paradiso.. I prefer that one above Ziggodome in Amsterdam..

Who doesn't? smiling smiley Chances of ever seeing them in Paradiso though are very, very slim...

Hope to see you there, either one, if all the stars align! cool smiley So far, so good.

On the italian Stones' Forum a runor has leaked about a fall european tour of about 10 -12 dates (a show in Italy towards the end of november among those). However, it seems that everything's still in the works...

Friends Arena is a stadium.

And an arena. The stadium has a retractable roof, enabling events to take place during the winter season and to host indoor entertainment. "The venue has a total capacity of 65,000 at concerts and 50,000 seated at football matches, but the stadium can be scaled down to accomplish a more intimate setting to host smaller events with a capacity of approximately 20,000 guests. Friends Arena is the biggest football stadium, and indoor venue, in the Nordic countries".

i doubt there will be an italian stop, if there will be one it will be milano or roma. torino arena has a lot less than 18,000 seats like reported in the list. maybe 7,000

We need at least one East-Central European gig:

Budapest? Vienna? Munich? Zagreb? Belgrade? Prague? or Kraków?...

But the best choice is BUDAPEST!

Due to the current political "situation" in Hungary, I would say: forget about that.

The Stones would not even in their wildest dreams play there momentarily, all my money on that.

Sorry but that's just stupid party politics in the European Parliament.

Nothing to do with reality.

Confirmed? Dates? I thought we'd have to wait '50 and Counting' days like we did for the North American tour - BV announced it in Feb, and the dates were 'officially' announced in April....

Do you suppose we'll see the signs in the Paris Metro?

Looks like we could finally get a full world tour.
We have rumors about shows in south-America and Europe.
And Mick said last year that he want to do concerts in Australia.
So there is just Asia left. I am really looking forward to the the next months and to another great stones year.

I went to see John Fogerty in Ziggodome, quite good seats but I must say I was UNDERwhelmed. The acoustics are OK, but (to me) not noticeably better than the re-newed Ahoy in Rotterdam. Obviously Ziggodome has a larger capacity, which makes it more attractive business-wise.

Enjoy the weekend,
Kees

If given a choice between two arenas, one with better acoustics than the other...

Even if it was the one with worse sound, I would still go to whichever one the Rolling Stones were playing in.

Hello you all

more european shows are, as far as I know, plainly rumors , arn´t they ?
If anybody knows anything in particular, e.g. booked arenas, where?, when? it would be too nice to let all the others know and share these most important news, right ?
yours so far
