Has anybody seen a DVD release of this documentary? I read here some time ago about an updated version that was screened in Europe during the last tour.

Any help is much appreciated.

I remember only seeing it for sale as a VHS.

It passed on portuguese TV around 1990-91

Well, I hope that if they are going to release it in a DVD format, they would include whole versions of the songs, like as an extra or something. I hate that "ten seconds clip of the song"-format that it has now on VHS. The same goes for Video Rewind. Wish talk, I know.

25x5 needs updating but it could be done. Rewind however is stuck in the 80s and should only be used as an extra (perhaps on an updated 25x5). As we now have the Beatles Anthology and Stones Off The Record set perhaps they should employ an archivist to pull it all together in to a multi disc set.

Once the Stones and Allen klein are dead I'm sure it will happen.

25x5 is available in excellent quality on boot DVD, both the japanese laserdisc version and the non-subtitled version. Also a shorter version is available, that was shown on some tv-channels.
