How about a whining for StonesTod thread......we could hang out, kick around one-liners.... I thought the humor created balance for some of the over analysis. Can't take it too serious.

Shouldn't take it too hard, either.

Some of us got the death sentence some of us got paroled and some of us got a strong talking too...in any event IORR freaks itself out rather easily...all the fun is being had in the other cell block for the time being...

Now.....where's StonesTod?
Hope BV changes his mind on this.....
IORR without StonesTod is like Rolling Stones without Brian Jones OR Mick Taylor

I think the issue may have been more that of the cluttering of threads with off-topic small talk, something that was labeled as spam by the moderator in the recent posting rules thread.

Every day it would be the same: StonesTod would start riffing randomly off of someone's posts with his irony and sarcasm routine, then a devilishly fingerprinted poster would begin riffing back and forth with StonesTod, then a certain poster named after a hotel chain in a European city would jump in with "Is this where we're all meeting today?", and the routines would build from there, inflating the thread--or several threads at once--into a kaleidoscopic tapestry of multi-quoted posts.

So I don't think anyone's mind will change on this anytime soon.

ah, yes, the good old days...

this sounds suspiciously like a lyrical homage to She's A Rainbow.

He's A Stonestod

He posts his comments everywhere
He's in your hair
He's like a stonestod
Posting comments everywhere
....or something there
He posts his comments....

that is freakin' beautiful...I actually got a little misty-eyed.

I think we should take IORR out on the road, and invite StonesTod to do two guest threads per show.

If he behaves, we can invite him on for the encore as well.

I for one am glad StonesTod is gone.

I found his material terribly derivative. We've done him a favour by casting him out.

Now, he will work on new material in private, perhaps try it out on a few under-populated blogs, Sons of Beatles forums, Keno's Gasland perhaps, and eventually work out the kinks so he can come back triumphantly in a new guise.

Just think, fresh, zippy one liners, a rapier wit, an acid tongue and a razor delivery.

I'm rooting for him. The old StonesTod is dead, the new one lives on.

Hallelujah!

On acoustic guitar that is (old school of course).

He was 84 I believe, full head of shockingly white hair (with fish hooks, feathers and rubber bands), tall, about 7' 2" skinny, long skinny legs and a big pot belly.

This is all irrelevant.

The question is... who is StonesTod now?

I have my suspicions.
