Man, cook shows are terrible - but Recording what they eat? eye popping smiley that's obscene!

Between passed hors d’oeuvres of Atún Fire and Ice Ceviche and Spinach and Manchego Buñuelos to stations of Plantain Crusted Whole Baby Rack of Lamb and Cuban Paella, the group certainly enjoyed the finest Cuban cuisine has to offer.

“It was an absolutely amazing opportunity to be able to cook for these guys. They truly are rock ‘n roll royalty,” said Guillermo, “It’s been an exciting year for Cuba Libre.”

Word on the street is that the intro of some of the fries boiling is available in soundboard quality. Nothing from the breaking of the crust, though...

I bet the sound of squishing squid was great.

No Shepherd's Paella, no Keith.

He heard in advance that Mick's portions were described as 'tiny' and decided to stay in his hotel and not risk any further and potentially damaging embarrassment.

Did a Special eater show up halfway through?

Portion sizes aside, Keith might've been absent because he opted to spend the off days at home.

Cuba as it is called here is a fine restaurant w great food and atmosphere. Someone on Shidoobee referred to is as touristy which is bs. The only place touristy in Philly is the Liberty Bell. I'm betting Keith was back in Connecticut before most folks were out of the parking lot Tuesday night.

I agree jazzbass, I've seen the Liberty Bell once, and that's enough. Spent some time in downtown Philly today, it's a great city, very easy to get around in, unlike DC, which is where I live. Still can't get over the cars parked in the medium, though.

I'm glad the Stones enjoyed their evening off. I really don't care that much what I eat, so anyplace is fine with me, as long as they have fish or something vegetarian. Bon Appetit everyone!

This is not the first time on this tour that Mick has dined out with Ron and Charlie sans Keith.

I think Keith has learned how to pace himself on this tour and that is a good thing, yes?

Yes, knowing ones limitations is a great thing. I'm sure he could still party all night if he wanted to, but knowing he probably can't just have a few and call it a night, and therefore avoiding the whole thing is probably really good for him. And us.

Going home before the tour has officially wrapped up for a break? That's cheating!

I doubt that he would depart from the touring party, knowing that everyone else cannot return home until the leg of the tour has concluded.

You are probably right.....but it's not funny and it's not the fantasy world most of us live in. Our imaginations get the best of us almost all the timegrinning smiley

In Holland we call this 'binding the cat on the bacon'.

Contrary to Ronnie, Keith probably didn't want to be bound on the bacon.

There was a probably a good reason for Keith to give this is a miss, but still, doesn't sound quite right...well, as long as things go ok on stage...
