I just recently came across this video of Heart performing stairway to heaven in front of Robert Plant. I thought this video was amazing at the end of the song Robert PLant even had tears to his eyes. What are your thoughts?

Fantastic version of Stairway.

Wilson can really sing.

For Robert Plant to get teary-eyed, you know it was something very special.

Great drumming by Bonham as well.

That is wonderful, thanks for posting. I think it's clear to see that Page, Plant and Jones are visibly moved by what is a great rendition of a classic song. The choir adds something and takes the song to another level. I'm keeping everything crossed that they will do one final tour. Plant has finally said he has a year free in his diary and so the ball for once is in Page's court and judging by their reaction to this, I have a feeling we might see them on stage one last time - I really hope so. I only managed to see them once at Knebworth (The New Barbarians were one of the support acts) and it was a life changing experience for a teenager, so now for a middle aged man it would be fitting way to say see ya, and thanks for the exciting music.

Tremendous rendition of the song in front of Led Zeppelin, not just Plant. I was speechless when I watched it. Outstanding and dedicated performance.

Heart used to play at our high school dances in the 70's and they always ended the dance with Stairway to Heaven as their final song. It was always a nice long one to snuggle up with your honey to. That must have been quite the feeling for the Wilson sisters to play the song for their idols at the Kennedy Center!

Heart has done a few Zeppelin tunes throughout their career. Rock'n'Roll is on their Greatest Hits album and also Battle of Evermore. Ann Wilson has one of the best female voices in rock.
My sister remembers Heart playing at their high school dance in Hope, near Vancouver, in the early 70's. That was when the Wilson sisters moved from Seattle up to Vancouver and probably did alot of shows like the highschool dances before Dreamboat Annie was released.

Heart is touring this summer with Jason Bonham. Jason does a set, then Heart does a set, then Jason joins Heart to perform a handful of Led Zeppelin songs including Stairway. Here is a video of Stairway from their first show on the tour last night.

This is a show I think would definitely be worth seeing. Ann Wilson's voice is incredible, and you can't go wrong with a setlist including a bunch of Zeppelin and Bonzo's son.

Just too much pathos. The whole thing with the Zeps in suits and the well seated audience hardly move. Freaking disgusting.....What has happened to the music and lifestyle which was important late 60s and early 70s...bands and musicians kill their own history.
