DoomandGloomWe get jaded around here but then I listen to those 2 minutes and I know I'm not totally nuts. Talk about Daltry, Stewert or Plant, they don't still have it like this. Mick is an inspiration.Quote

That's the best Mick vocal I've ever heard.. Wow..
I love that guy
Greatest front man ever!... and timeless
Dang right...
and that is why no one has ever heard a peep of jaded from me,
not even about the war horses...

Damnit, CYHMK with Mick is my holy grail and they play it the show before and the show after the one I'm able to go to! Damnit!

As much as it pains me to admit it, Miss You is a huge hit with the crowd, especially the vocal contingent of under 40s and under 30s.

There are a lot of young people here who are obviously hearing SMU live for the first time because they are losing their sh!t to this tune.

Ain't no party like a warhorse cos a warhorse party don't stop.
It's all about the kids now and they are loving it.
And let's face, the little whippersnappers have taste.

Doesn't bother me in the least that people don't agree with me. I say what I think, you say what you think, so be it. Fair game. I'm not the one with the issues - whoever originally told me to get off the board for stating my opinion about set list variation is. Amazingly sensitive people here, so he's probably right. Not worth my time. I had figured It was an open community of discourse and am disappointed to find it's not, my view. Seems to me in a short experience since i began posting after toronto may 25 show i attended to be something of a closed society wary of and hostile To new voices. Disappointing. Whatever. I'll just enjoy the site as I previously had - reading reviews and the set lists played by this amazing and eternal band. Cheers, all.

And that, my friends, is exactly why the Stones play these songs at every show, that's what the casual fan pays the big bucks for a ticket to hear. By now we need to quit being so jaded and know better than to bitch about the Stones playing the same warhorses night after night, it'll never change. At this point we should simply be thankful they're still out there touring and sounding great.

I think you take it too seriously. You have to let the shit roll off your back. it's the nature of this thing, Whatever you say some people will disagree. Look
around you when you drive a car, how many a-holes are there out there? Say what
you want and have fun with it. I'm certainly no insider, I never posted here
before this tour (but read the board since it began).
