That's the best Mick vocal I've ever heard.. Wow..

I love that guy

thumbs up Greatest front man ever!... and timeless
We get jaded around here but then I listen to those 2 minutes and I know I'm not totally nuts. Talk about Daltry, Stewert or Plant, they don't still have it like this. Mick is an inspiration.

Dang right...
and that is why no one has ever heard a peep of jaded from me,
not even about the war horses...

Wow!
Mick nails it.
Gave me chills watching that clip.

Hope they start playing it regularly. Crowd seems to love it.

andrewt = "Beer #6 we meet again"

smileys with beer

I hope those beers are cheaper in Toronto than LA, here you'd be close to one of those $85 Stones mystery tickets by now. LOL

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind...

As much as it pains me to admit it, Miss You is a huge hit with the crowd, especially the vocal contingent of under 40s and under 30s.

Thanx.

There are a lot of young people here who are obviously hearing SMU live for the first time because they are losing their sh!t to this tune.

Doesn't bother me in the least that people don't agree with me. I say what I think, you say what you think, so be it. Fair game. I'm not the one with the issues - whoever originally told me to get off the board for stating my opinion about set list variation is. Amazingly sensitive people here, so he's probably right. Not worth my time. I had figured It was an open community of discourse and am disappointed to find it's not, my view. Seems to me in a short experience since i began posting after toronto may 25 show i attended to be something of a closed society wary of and hostile To new voices. Disappointing. Whatever. I'll just enjoy the site as I previously had - reading reviews and the set lists played by this amazing and eternal band. Cheers, all.

Ain't no party like a warhorse cos a warhorse party don't stop.

It's all about the kids now and they are loving it.
And let's face, the little whippersnappers have taste.

I think you take it too seriously. You have to let the shit roll off your back. it's the nature of this thing, Whatever you say some people will disagree. Look around you when you drive a car, how many a-holes are there out there? Say what you want and have fun with it. I'm certainly no insider, I never posted here before this tour (but read the board since it began).

"There are a lot of young people here who are obviously hearing SMU live for the first time because they are losing their sh!t to this tune."

And that, my friends, is exactly why the Stones play these songs at every show, that's what the casual fan pays the big bucks for a ticket to hear. By now we need to quit being so jaded and know better than to bitch about the Stones playing the same warhorses night after night, it'll never change. At this point we should simply be thankful they're still out there touring and sounding great.

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind...

The two dudes next to me are both recording SFTD on their phones.
You would've thought maybe they'd draw straws.

Okay Keith....can you atone for Rocks Off?

Almost but not quite.

Nonetheless the atmosphere in here is great!

Its about time...
he really should practice that.
Ive only seen him nail it a couple of times in 30 shows

This show live update thread is so much better than most of the others
Most of them degenerate into complaining about the set list or lack of MT by song 4
Really great to hear about the energy at the show mistakes and all
Takes me back to the shows I saw and loved
Lots of time to complain between shows :-)

Well if this indeed Toronto's send off to the Stones, the crowd is giving them a great send off.

If you try sometimes...

Thanks. I'm fine; I was being deliberately ironic/sarcastic/truthful all at once and all of it likely beyond those I was targeting in reply's intellectual capacity. I'm a media columnist and blogger - trust me, I have a thick, tough skin.
