Their ABKCO stuff continues to sell, even on vinyl. They'll keep the set lists as is and will drop D&G and OMS on the next tour.

It looks as though their future as a chart-topping act is in music video--expect more DVD releases than CDs going forward.

Those abkco titles are rereleases on clear vinyl...that's the only reason you're seeing that. They were released May 28...BB, LIB, and Hot Rocks. I believe they'll be releasing additional titles on clear vinyl as well.

Actually, I think it's pretty strong, given that it's another rehashing of the hits, a hefty three cd price, and they just did the same thing ten years ago. I find it a bit astonishing.

"Grrr!" has sold very well worldwide, given the factors Thrylan mentioned.

“Grrr!” stayed for 12 weeks on World Top 40 (“Mediatraffic”) , having sold 1,189,000 copies. I don’t know what happens since 13th week, as i’ m not… Georgelicks. I mean, my only source was “Mediatraffic”. But for sure 1,2 milllion copies is already a very strong number, by the current sales standards. Just consider one fact: 1,2 millions was an adequate number of sales to obtain a position between #32 and #34 of the 2012 “Year End Chart”, that is the catalogue of the best selling albums of 2012 ("Mediatraffic").

Grrr has sold over 1.35m copies worldwide so far, not bad for a 3cd set.

Thanks "Georgelicks". So by the measures of 2012, "Grrr" (which, as we know, came out at the end of the 2012) would be one of the 25 year's best selling albums! And we are talking abouta a 3 cd set, that had been "taunted" by many fans ("usulless compilation", "who the hell need it", etc)...

I think the particular level of "Grrr!" global sales does mean something more than "not bad". And for sure not even Ropeni would say "bad", but you never know...
