Several media sites are saying that the Stones are confirmed for March 2014 in Buenos Aires... guess the tour will continue...

Can't imagine Stones doing several shows in Brazil - not at all in stadiums, ticket prices too high, Stones don't have that big a fan base in Brazil and if I remember well, some years ago, they couldn't even "sell out" a consert (some 40.000 tickets) in Rio. Buenos Aires is a Stones place. Copacabana was for free, which is something else and they will probably not make more free conserts in Rio (well you never know).Quote

There's a lot of talking about it here in Brazil, too. It has been reported that the Stones will play in various football arenas that are being built (or are being reformed) for the World Cup 2014.
This is not unlikely, but until we get some official news from the Stones, I will not lose my sleep.

I don't know. I think that the Stones have a pretty large following in Brazil. Paul McCartney plays soccer stadiums all across the country (places outside of Sao Paulo/Rio) like Fortaleza and Curitiba. I am sure that the Stones could do so as well. As far as prices go - well, anyone who has been to Brazil in the last couple of years and seen the economic growth there knows that consumer prices there seem to be higher than in the US.

The Stones do have a pretty large fanbase here in Brazil, but I can assure you that if they play 3 concerts, none of them will be a sell out concert. In Buenos Aires they surely can play 5 times and all of them will be on a packed stadium.
And I'm obviously talking about this just as an example, not that I'm saying that they will play that lot of times in Brazil or Argentina, if they come here.
