Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if there are any cool bootleg shops in Paris. I'll be there from tomorrow 'till monday.

Can you email please and not post it here to honor Bjornulf rules?!\

Thanks,

Cheers,
Wuudy

I hear there's a good one on the top floor of the Tour Montparnasse. But don't go there without a respirator and an airtight suit!

You have "Monsters melody" (quite expensive) Rue des déchargeurs between rue de Rivoli and rue des Halles.
They have a lot of memorabilia (magazines...)
"Parallèles" a library rue des halles where you can ask for boots.
And of course "les puces de Saint Ouen" but i don't know if it's open everyday.
You better go there (metro Porte de St Ouen in the north) on saturday.

I've been in Paris once (One of the best citites ever). When you walk from the Arch d'Triumph (No idea if that's correct..........You know what I mean smiling smiley), you walk down on the left side of Champs Elyssés until you reach a Virgin Megastore (In there they had GHS in the special LP Replica CD quite cheap.......I didn't have money to buy it though sad smiley). When you reach Virgin Megastore then you should take the next sideroad down to your left. Walk about 500 metres (I think) and there should be this little record shop (No CDs). I was in there, and I found the Gothenburg '82 picture LP and some other boots on LP, along with loads of, what seemed to be great, Stones cover LPs (Like "Exile On Blues Street.......That kindda stuff). The problem is that I can't remember the name of the shop mainly because I suck at French. And I can't guarantee that it's there anymore either. But maybe you're lucky. It was definently a great shop.

No HMV in Paris
For collectibles, go to Monster Melodies, rue des dechargeurs, close to "Les Halles". But be ready to pay the price. No bootlegs there.

If you're a bit in metal too go to Rock n Roll Voltage, rue du Roi de Sicile, at the St Paul metro station.

For the weekend, go to the flee market, at the Porte de Clignancourt metro.
There you may ask for boots, there may be a few hidden.
