Rolling Stones Announce Two More Chicago Dates

Band to play United Center May 31 and June 3, along with original May 28 concert

Looks like Mick and the boys will be sticking around Chicago a little bit longer.

The Rolling Stones have added two additional concert dates at the United Center. Concerts will be held May 31 and June 3, along with the May 28 concert announced earlier this week.

The additional dates were added due to overwhelming demand, according to concert organizers.

Tickets will go on sale April 8th at 10 a.m., and will be available at www.rollingstones.com and www.ticketmaster.com.

Tickets start at $85.

I don't see anything for $85 on the United Center website, but there's now a $450 ticket (which honestly are like what was shown for San Jose are worse than the $250 tickets).

I looked at a $450 ticket.

Got my pit tickets, plane tickets and hotel booked.
This could be the last time that I see the Stones.
It's always a big effort to travel so far to see them.

So any big meeting places organized yet for a preshow get together? Taking my 12 year old for his first Stones show (my 9th since '81). He's seen Alice Cooper and Paul McCartney in the last year, this will be the finale before he's a teenager!

Sounds like a "must do" for me. I'd really enjoy meeting my fellow Stones fans...I'll be in Chicago from Monday to Thursday (might stay longer). When we get closer to the kick-off, I'll be happy to share my info. I'll be in an apartment downtown that I'm sharing with another fan/friend. It would be great to hook up with some fellow fans. Before/during or after.

Question... do all the $85. tickets list the same section, just as default? I thought you wouldn't know where they were, until you picked them up at will call. Does the section listed mean anything?

Some peoples tickets saying TBA while some have GA1, GA2, GA3. So no telling. I'm a bit skeptical we all scored floor tickets, but you never know.

Mine says GA1

I'll be there... Got tickets for all 3 days. Mostly GA1 with low seat numbers. One GA2 with seat 70-something... Like others have said, these probably mean nothing. I am curious if getting there early entitles you to 'better' lottery seats. I assume that the seat numbers are real, and we just don't know the section or row yet.

Good question. Going to Chicago for the first time (live in KC). Hoping for some advice in this field also.

Can someone from Chicago or who is familiar with Chicago please post information such as hotels and transportation. Also, a place to have a drink or twenty before we go in.
Perhaps BV will paste some info from the prior years concerts on here for us.

When I was looking for 5/28 tickets, there were an abundance of hotels open all over the city but ended up getting 5/31 tickets. Something's going on 5/31 as most downtown are sold out except for the high priced Trumps, Waldorfs, etc.; looking around O'Hare. Not sure what the situation is for 6/3.

The OHare Hilton is popping up for 5/31 at an ok price. Good airport location because the el is downstairs. Park in the economy lot and the shuttle takes you to the hotel.Not sure of availibilty for 6/3.

i may have an extra ROOM available at hotel 30 May - 02 June (3 nights)
