I would love to hear more about what Mick said that Keith told him was funny.
Did anyone else there catch it--something about Chicago, yes?
Sounds great, thank, benstones!

Between two songs, at the end, I don't remember exactly which songs, they waited a long time. Not as usual. Normally, when they finish a song, they don't wait more than 10-15 seconds to begin another one. But there, Mick and Keith were speaking, laughing and then Mick took his mic, and said: "Keith just told me something funny"... Then Mick told us the story that I didn't really hear and understand... I need local fans who were there to tell you the story, but they were speaking about Chicago.
But it was not the only moment that they were close. I found all the band really close yesterday. Not only Mick and Keith, everyone! They seemed so happy to be in Chicago!
Okay are there any pictures or video of this?? Mick actually said "Keith just told me something funny". BV did you hear this?
I heard it. He said they were just having a laugh about a previous time they were in Chicago that Keith reminded him about. And you could see them laughing about something.

Here's a pic I took. Sorry about the bad quality, just used my phone... Thought it was pretty cool to see Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie all huddle up before the YCAGWYW!

FFS another pointless thread about Mick and Keith's relationship, they've know each other most of their lives. I have a couple of friends where its the same thing, we're like brothers and of course there will be times when we fall out and say things that upset each other, even long periods of time (sometimes years) that we hardly speak to each other.
The fact is Mick and Keith are touring together surely that's proof enough. Unlike Dirty Work era when there was the 3 year gap of nothing. Mick and Keith always sort things out, you seem to forget that these guys are no longer in their 20's, 30's or even 40's if you look their interaction on stage has completely changed over the years. Come to think of it when watching a lot of 70's footage Mick and Keith hardly interact mainly due to the fact Keith was out of it and in his own world half the time.

Mick is only saying they have a good working relationship to get a little back at Keith. Of course they are friendly again. It only takes a few seconds to see that during the shows...

I agree with you. Mick won't give Keith the Satisfaction of saying he thinks of him as more because of Life. They really are like 2 overgrown children at times but their bond is unbreakable.

I think the only bond that they have is the Rolling Stones. Mick said in the RS interview that he loves the Rolling Stones and I think this is the only reason why he forgave Keith, at least so much that they can continue with this band. He does not do this because he loves Keith, he loves the band.

Great! What's the next step then? Mick actually visiting Keith's dressing-room before the show?
It is Charlie in between Jagger and Richards - so no closeness here, maybe they split apart again in the end of the show..Quote

be careful, you might unleash a barrage of "we want mick taylor in the backstage pre-encore huddle", vitriol against MJ and KR for not inviting MT into the huddle, and finally speculation that it's because they are all secretly jealous of MT.
