Thank you maradona and other video finders, I thought I was better at finding videos than this, but I am not seeing/finding them as well you and are others are. And I was thinking we could get at least "some copy/version" of all the videos up and then go back with a fine tooth comb to list the ones that really need longer/better versions.... but I am open to any suggestions/postings that are said to be better at any time.

Was this show very loud? Some of the best close-up videos suffer from crackly distorted sound in places where those from further away seem better. "You Got The Silver" from joeypgh1 is beautiful, but some of his other videos are almost unlistenable (candidates for kleermaker's best-video-plus-best-audio work?)

Depends where you sit. From our vantage point it was loud and mixed PERFECTLY. As a sound engineer I have always had some complaint about every Stones concert I have ever been to aside from Atlanta 06. This was PERFECTION. I hope Friday sees this continued. Guitars were blazingly loud. We have never been able to hear Keith's opening riffs so loud. It was a dream for me. Not exaggerating.

I only do that to songs with Taylor. An extra reason to use him on more songs. cool smiley

From these videos, the sound overall is best on the ones taken from directly off stage left, because the guitars are full and solid sounding and you can really hear the drums in all their jazzy nuances.

I agree with DoomandGloom's comment above about Charlie pushing Keith to make him better. It was, after all, Charlie's suggestion to tour with a stripped-down stage arrangement and Keith responded that this move would really put the pressure on the guitar section. But Charlie truly admires and respects Keith as a player and it is well known how Keith loves to play off Charlie's drumming. In both the Midnight Rambler and Six Days videos (the "stage left" videos), you can see Keith turning around and strolling up in front of Charlie's drums to play off him as he has always done. Whereas in recent tours Charlie's drumming has seemed rote and by the numbers (and, for that matter, Keith's playing), Charlie's drums have a punch and dynamic range that hasn't been heard since the 70s (or, perhaps, since '81/'82). Charlie is really cooking, because he wants Keith to do well and prove that he really can play the guitar with a touch of the old spark.

Allow me to give you kids a tip, so that MAYBE you might get lucky someday,
IN REAL LIFE it is best to NEVER talk a woman's age or weight... so if you dont do it real life, dont do it on the web or anywhere... will you please take that kids talk to another thread.

Sorry, Max.

Green Lady (born 1949, and much fatter than Lisa).

That film shown before the intro starts is embarrasing and tasteless. Three minutes of pathetic blahblah. What a shame!
