The Chicago Blackhawks hockey team won last night vs Detroit and are now up for a final game number 7 home at the United Center tomorrow Wednesday. Mick is bound to make a comment on it during the show tonight!

If you need a couple of $85 tickets for tonight, there is someone selling two for face value: it's on another thread-

Yes. It is not unusual that the stage is taken down between shows. It takes just a few hours to take it down, or to build it up. The same might happen in Boston.

I wonder why there has been no audience choice voting for this show?

What about a debut of "2120 South Michigan Avanue"...?

I have my guts that people are going to have a special show tonight. In a way it all began there...

So have a great night there, people!smileys with beer

Just a few hours to take it down. Really stupid. I should be more sensible to get for example on May 28 a show in Pittsburg and later the 2 gigs in Chicago. Just my idea!

They might have to take the stage down again after show 2. If the Blackhawks win Game 7, they'll probably be playing Game 1 of the conference finals on Sat/Sun.

And that is what everyone in Chicago are looking forward to, right?

Drove past the United Center this morning to see if there was anything going on. Saw a fleet of trucks parked in 1 of the far parking lots so it would appear as if everything is all set up. Still no sign of a fan-vote song on the official website or app. As previously mentioned in another post, I think Chicago could be in for quite a ride tonight. My guess is Buddy Guy will be the special guest. I certainly wouldn't complain if they played "Champagne & Reefer" but I'd love to hear them dust off "Mannish Boy." Here's to an amazing show tonight!

I think they should play "sweet home chicago"
nada ........but I'd love to see them do a set like El Mocambo.
Hoping to meet up with a few others.
Anyone from DC coming?

From GRRRegory again:

"The guest first played on the same bill as the Stones in 1969"

Re: Chicago-1 May 28 Stones show live updates

Same bill as 1969 ... so it would probably be BB King or Chuck Berry? Doubt it would be Tina Turner.
