I wish they'd drop "You Got Me Rocking" from VD and add something from DW.

I actually think DW is better than the awful VL.

nothing from Bridges or Bigger Bang, sadly.

Out Of Control was played on the 1st London show...
Saint Of Me would be great from that album, too.
Crazy mama would be a good choice from 'Black & Blue' it sounded great in '97/'98.

Yes, I had really hoped to hear "Edward's Thrump Up" with Ry Cooder guesting. Lost opportunity.

I agree, DW >>>>> VL. So much uninspired filler on VL ("Brand New Car," "Sweethearts Together," "Blinded By The Worst Lyrics Mick Ever Wrote," "Suck On The Jugular" etc.) whereas DW is a cohesive whole, full of anger and bile, the most pissed off album they ever made. I love it! Not in their top 5 or even 10, but WAY better than ANY that followed.

Oh yes - DW is way better than Voodoo. At least it has an identity. Voodoo tries so hard to be everything at all times that it misses by a mile. IMO VL is their weakest album.

Different strokes obviously. In my opinion Voodoo is the strongest latter day album. Dirty Work and Emotional Rescue is their nadir in every department. Totally uninspired c***-rock on those albums. Voodoo has some of Jagger's best melodies.

I really enjoyed "Rough Justice" from the Bigger Bang tour and LP and thought it could of found a way into a few of these shows.

When was the last time they played anything from Steel Wheels? I'd love to hear them do one.

"Slipping Away", twice in June 2007. Other songs before that "Rock and a Hard Place" once in 2002 and "Sad Sad Sad" twice in 2002.

Pretty much they have left out everything from Tattoo you and on.
I thought Rock and a Hard Place would have made it to the setlist at sometime and Saint of Me would as well.

Kinda tells us how they value A Bigger Bang these days.

Even though I'm a pretty die hard Taylorite and a huge fan of the old Stones, I'm always interested in hearing their newer songs played live. They aren't as worn out and predictable as their warhorses.

Their psychedelic classic from 1967.

If memory serves Rock And A Hard Place was played at Gilette Stadium during Licks, and Sad Sad Sad at the Palais Royale & the Tower.

Their psychedelic classic from 1967.

Not just Satanic, but also Buttons. Not even Ruby or Night yet. And no "real" Aftermath (UK version).

Lady Jane is from the UK Aftermath.

Nothing has been played from The Rolling Stones No. 2, along with Buttons and Satanic for the 60s albums.

I thought that set of 2000 light years, paint it black and sympathy was a pretty good line up in 89. The songs transitioned very well.

Oops! That reminds me that I would love to have them play it on this leg of the tour. It's a shame to bring it back after all those years and not give it more airtime.

Sadly that's what will happen, Mick doesn't like blank faces. I wonder if he noticed my bored face during Miss You last Saturday.
