Citadel...one of the most underrated Stones songs ever, great guitar riff and Charlies aggressive drumming, freakin fantastic !!!

But did they ever play that live ?? - They should !!

Citadel is a great track for sure, I got "Citadel" as instrumental demo from the vinyl boot; The Beatles and The Rolling Stones-Sing This all Together.

They can't play Citadel or Child Of The Moon live coz Jagger thinks they are too obscure.He knows we'd all much rather hear One More Shot & Doom & Gloom every night, or another(unrehearsed)duet.

Although it's rather a different band, that is very good. Only the stereo effect in the last minute is quite annoying.

Citadel translates well as a cover for modern rock bands.

The Damned have a cover of Citadel from 1981:

Here is The Damned with a live version from 1982, which they preface by saying "Time for the best song The Rolling Stones ever did, it's called Citadel."

They need to play this track and 2000 man.
Both would rock the place down...

I do not think that Child of the moon would sound good live, similiar to Have you seen your mother baby. These were studio productions, and the would sound as weak as She's a rainbow when they tried it out on stage (based on the live recording this sounded dreadful).
