Dutch tribute band Flip the Switch's Farewell Party!

FLIP THE SWITCH THROWS A SPECTACULAR FAREWELL PARTY

The end is near: after six beautiful years, with the last two in the current formation, Flip the Switch has decided to ring the bell for the last round. June 26, 2005 will be the day, and one of the most beautiful venues in Amsterdam “Panama” is the place.

We have accomplished everything one can achieve within the constraints of a 'tribute band'. We were elected “Best Tribute Band” in 2003 with which we won a trip to London and several days in a recording studio. In 2004 Flip was given the honour to play a very special venue the Stones played a legendary gig in 1964: The Kurhaus (http://[members.chello.nl]). It’s our most special gig yet. We played full houses to great success all over Holland in between. Flip the Switch has consolidated the name of Best Tribute band, and have been a much in demand live band. Now, it's done. It’s time to embrace new projects and seek new challenges. The Farewell Party will be Flip’s Last Waltz, and the ultimate chance to see Flip the Switch live and to experience the buzz!

We promise you this will be a very special show! When the Stones played six sell-out shows in Holland in 2003 they chose Panama to throw a thank-you bash for the crew and friends of the band. Following our heroes, Flip the Switch has chosen the fantastically beautiful Panama for the farewell party. It will be a show not to be missed!

Panama is an intimate theatre, so don’t hesitate to order tickets in time. The band and its management would be pleased to offer any assistance in finding transportation and accommodation means. Panama is located near the center of Amsterdam, and public transportation and hotels are in abundance. Just drop us a line and we’ll help you out!

This will be The Last Time...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tickets are available at all remaining gigs of Flip the Switch’s Farewell Tour or on order via fliptheswitch@chello.nl. Reservation of tickets is also possible at the Panama (+31 20 3118686). More info at: [www.fliptheswitch.nl]

Dear Flip the Switchers,

I lost all my email addies, due to laptoptroubles so I try to contact you all this way. As you guys know, I am in the possession of the famous inflatable starfu*ker, used during the tour of america's, back in 75.
Your request to use it for your panama show is taken seriously.
I tried to inflate the penis tonight, but even with the whole family Hondsbossche , we were not able to get enough oxygen into the penis to erect it.
I asked the horn section from the local brass band to come along and with their help, we were able to turn it into a half hard one.
Then we found out that the penis is "well done". In Dutch we say "gaar".
That means that there are many holes in the skin of the penis. We have to cover all the holes, so we need a lot of solution and these small parts of an unused inside tyre. In Dutch we say "binnenband".
Do you guys have acces to lot of solution and unused inside tyre parts ?? I tried Mac Bike near Waterloo plein but they donot sell solution separate. It only goes with a bike. That makes the rental fee king size and that's not the meaning of this whole thing.
Please let me know how to proceed.
Best Regards,
Schuine Hondsbossche

Don't worry Schuine, the entire band is suffering from half-hard ones, so one extra doesn't worry us! Kep blowing!

Dutch boys they're pretty funny, sometimes they drive me mad...

Well folks that's settled then: with or without chief wally's wally's condom we will take part with the inflatable.
Next step: support act for the panama show: The contract with Stevie Wonder and his complete 1972 Wonderlove line up is about to be closed (except for Rick James who's playing bass with Brian and Stu right now).
One detail: Stevie is not used to play for crowds less than let's say 20,000 .
So question is: can you select the fans on their screaming skills ??? Stevie has this eyesight problems, so volume wise we must be able to fool him.
If the Panama crowd yells pretty good , Stevie will be uptight and we all will get satisfaction.

What daya think ?

Hi Esky,

We want to use the 73 Sydney stage coach the Stones used for their only complete Mick Taylor Soundboard show to enter the stage in Sydney.
Can you help us track that vehicle down (under whoeaah)?
The ping pong balls are also very welcome !
