just to make people look at it? Since you aren't posting any info...but have a title that implies you are...i'd say hissss to you!

i don't think the stones will show themselves on the artwork...and for good reason.

The Stones are still the best lookin' gang in town....so get 'em back on the cover and have the listener shakin' even before Keithy Boy hits those first opening notes....!!

How about a photo of them all sporting exotic (& possibly symbolic) masks or headware, in the fashion of 'No Stone Unturned'so although the band would be present, most of the wrinkles would be invisible for those who are squeamish of such things.
Alternatively they could opt for very truthful contrasty b/w close ups of Mick & Keith's fizogs, to show they are proud rather than ashamed of their age.

I'd prefer a group shot. And a good one like on Stripped this time. We havrdly ever got covers with them on it, and when we do, they sometimes look silly. Like on Satanic Majesties and Dirty Work. Just a cool cover with the four Stones dressed up. Ronnie as a whino/tramp, Charlie as an accountant, Mick as a S/M guy with heaps of leather on him and then finally Keith in a black military outfit with an eyepatch. And they should be somewhere cool. Like inside the Marquee Club watching some young band while they're in the audience or something. A quite cool idea if I was to say so myself.

I think it's more than sufficent that the Stones and U2 are using the same staff while on the road. There is no need to also use the same photographer/artist.
Let's face it, there are so many new and talented artists who ought to get an opportunity to show what they can produce, instead of always consulting the well-estabilished people/companies.

Good idea. In that sense he actually contributes something to the album. Let him paint an portrait of the band for the new cover.

It's just my opinion that Corbijn is a brilliant photographer.
He did the cover photo for Stripped. He has also worked with many other artists.
He has got nothing to do with the touring staff.
