Live album: Ya Ya's
DVD: Live In Texas

The DVD of the bonus songs on Ya Ya's isn't as good as Live In Texas, imo. However, if we had the whole show(s) on DVD...

What about the Brussels Affair as best live album as it has been released as a MP3/FLAC and as a live DVD Ladies and Gentlemen from the 72 American Tour.

It's certainly very good, but Ya Ya's is excellent, imo.

Just yesterday I actually found my copy of Four Flicks while cleaning up, I don't think I even watched all DVDs of the set, but out of curiosity I had a look at the booklet and wow, just look at the setlist of the Olympia show! Just four warhorses if I remember correctly. I wish they could do something similar on this tour!

Four Flicks is a very good release.

Ya Ya's

I like gimme shelter as the best movie about them although it is not strictly a concert film. You have to sit through stuff like them listening to the wild horses and brown sugar play backs

Four flicks is great - agreed - as was biggest bang, i also liked the bablyon release, only one i didnt like was at the max, due to all the overdubs

Ya Ya's for sure. A great, late era, single song performance is Paradiso '95 - Gimme Shelter.

Ya Yas!
Ladies and Gentlemen is great, but the sound sucks! And the camera work sucks. Love the music though.

Sonically Live in Texas is amazing. And the cameras actually focus in on other members than just Jagger! GREAT Release and sounds amazing in DTS surround sound.

Yeah but two of the songs of Got Live aren't even live even live! Fake audiance. The Boot from the 67 tour in Hawaii is way better, and authentic.

Yes tthe sound is really disappointing
BTW, since you're also into Bowie.....have you noticed how terrible the sound of "Serious Moonlight" is? I bought that one on VHS long time ago. When seeing that it was re-released on DVD I thought I'd finally get to hear it in great quality. But the DVD is just as bad. Sounds like there's a 1 meter thick carpet of cotton over the speakers

I can't remember anymore - does Four Flicks have Budokan? That was a great show.
