Hi,
I recently received this one and noticed that it plays half a tone above for some songs...I also noticed that Crazy Mama was missing.
Is it the same on the original ?
thanks for the info.

Crazy Mama is on my copy, but not complete of course. Is it the LYL-tracks that play half a tone above?

Yes indeed.

Could this be because some Mocambo songs are audience sourced and others from the 'official' acetate?

I don't really know..I've just put all of them at the right tone.

you have "Route 66" twice but it's exactly the same version..one with full of crackles.

Mu guess is that the tape recorder used to capture the audience recordings (LSTNT, CM etc. is a little slow.

Kind of a dogs breakfast of a boot,
despite being an interesting show.

There is no audience recrding of the EM shows, all is soundboard, including LSTNT and CM.

Why is the quality of those songs so much poorer?

has someone got the VGP-005b version ?
it is said to be the best one.

Because part is an officially released flexi disk, and part is a 10th generation soundboard tape, taken from keith's Toronto hotel room.

The remaster of VGP-005 is better than all others, especially the acetate tracks are now almost crackle-free. There are a few more stereo versions and a complete LSTNT on VGP-368 (A Stone In My Shoe).
