Musically - Midnight Rambler dear ol' Kleermaker highlighted. I think it's from Las Vegas.

Lady Jane at O2, more for bittersweet nostalgic reasons.

I am going to agree with whatever Green Lady says, I would wager that she has watched more footage of all of the shows than anyone, plus the fact that she is usually correct.

Around and Around in Newark.

Surely not the best performance of the tour, but it was one hell of an emotional high point for me. A truly iconic song for most long time fans. After 90+ shows since 72, I finally got to experience it live (from the pit. I snuck in that night with a wristband from the Brooklyn show).

AROUND AND AROUND! Not perfect, but the *glimmer* I was hoping we'd see all the way through the tour. Sad that they didn't keep it permanently in the setlist!

I have'nt been to any of the shows, but from the PPV and clips that have been posted. Midnight Rambler with Mick T. Fantastic, and the song has become thrilling again.

Midnight Rambler from Las Vegas gets my vote.

The Ramblers have indeed stood out. The No Expectations was transcendant as well, with Mick relaxing like his pre-1989 onstage self and unforced vocal mannerisms, replete with a loose organic acoustic guitar strum.

And we still haven't heard the club version of Love In Vain!

Newark 13th.
Respectable with John Mayer and Around and Around were my best Rolling Stones moments!

I've seen some great stuff so far on UTUBE. The best thing I saw live was MR in Brooklyn, without Mick Taylor which is kind of ironic..

Absolutely no doubt - RESPECTABLE with John Mayer on the 1st Newark Night !!!
Going Down on the 2nd show was fantastic, indeed, but Mayer definitely nailed Respectable and I think his first solo will never stop to blow my mind (beginning at 01:45 and becoming amazing at 02:05)...

Additionally, Keith was quite good on that one too, in contrast to Going Down where he seemed to suffer a bit from the 3 others on guitar.

Get Off Of My Cloud as an opener every night.
Little Red Rooster with Tom 'Howling Wolf' Waits.
Rambler in Vegas.
The brass band playing "Satisfaction" as the intro in LA.
the 2 bold renditions of Emotional Rescue so far. (Give it a dash more reggae... you'll see you'll be getting places with that one!)
GaGa on Gimme Shelter. (I could see where she gets her fame & pop status from. Well deserved! she's talented, imo.)
Gary Clark jr. & John Mayer - what a meeting of minds!

I'm not a big fan of John Mayer. His songs are not really my cup of tea, although I do respect him as a guitarist. I just listened to that solo on a good set of headphones though and it blew me into the stratosphere. Holy shit... that solo would give any guitarist a run for their money. Sublime.

I haven't seen any of the 2013 shows as yet, and probably won't see any of the N American ones, only the 2 Hyde Park ones. But I did see all five in 2012, and for me there's two numbers that stood out:

1 - Respectable with John Mayer in Newark on 13th December 2012
2 - Dead Flowers in Newark on 15th December 2012

In the case of 1 - it was sheer musicianship. Mayer's contribution was phenomenal. In the case of 2 - it was not only musicianship, it was the surprise factor of hearing it that also contributed.

From the various YOUTUBE clips of the 2013 shows that I've seen to date, there are other countless versions of songs that are equally as strong in terms of being contenders for the crown of "best performance". I mean really, we're unbelievably spoilt by this band, how the hell do you pick just ONE ?

[ I want to shout, but I can hardly speak ]
