It's pretty good and Keith is pretty good as well... there was one note he kept repeating which was an interesting choice.. but he hung in there.

Best encore set I've EVER seen!
From our side, almost rear view, $85 seats, I watched Mick Taylor dancing and playing air guitar during JJF! Un-@#$%& believable.

Then he lit up a cigarette and waited to strap his guitar on for Satisfaction!

Midnight Rambler was phenomenal!

Best Start Me Up I've ever seen and I don't even know why it was soooo good!

They ROCK.
I'll also admit, that during YCAGWYW I almost cried it was so powerful.

At least you can sleep, carlostones10! It's 7.55 a.m. here and I'll have to get up in a minute... Oh well, at least it's Sunday.

No, we didn't get an MT solo on Satisfaction - we got a Keith solo instead and a very happy-looking Keith who is clearly enjoying having MT around again.

The fact of the matter is, they are playing as good or better than ever! Mick is singing as good or better than ever! Even if they don't continue on and do a new album they are definitely going out in a blaze of glory!

Many thanks for your updates! Seems to have been a great show, above all I would have loved to see them together with Katy Perry live. Always liked the Betty Midler Cover-Version of Beast of Burden so according to the video here it was also great, much much better than Gwen Stefani or Lady Gaga in my opinion.

Yeah, she knew the words to the song and wasn't a visual distraction in the wrong way like Lady Gaga. I'm not big on duets, but this wasn't a train wreck at all.

Best one was from KP herself ("Yes, I just did gyrated on Mick Jagger." ), which all of a sudden flooded the hashtag with fans reposting it without ending. It has been already retweeted more than 1600 times... Guess Jagger knows what he's doing when he picks such popular singers...

Who on Earth wants to hear 'You Got Me Rocking'?

My guess is not a single person. Why do they continue to play it?

Because it's a good song.

Maybe, maybe not but there are dozens and dozens of better choices.

It is a decent song, but should be retired to make way for many of their brilliant songs that they never of rarely play. It was good as a newer song in the set but now they've got 2 good new ones to fill the spot.

My point being that I'm sure it never shows up as a request while many others that do get ignored.

Keith loves playing the song and it's a rare latterday song (relatively speaking) that goes down well with audiences. It also works for the current lineup with its anthemic singalong chorus, archetypal Keith riff, nice chance for Ronnie to play slide, and was the song that gave fans their first chance to hear the new rhythm section playing tightly. For all of those reasons, it has remained a concert staple.

Diehard fans might willingly give it a miss, but it's rarely about us so much as pacing a show for the "tourists" who don't own all the albums, but will pay top dollar to hear their greatest hits and a newer song that sounds instantly familiar.

They are cooking up a storm on that MR! Looking forward to a better video.

A few observations from tonight:

MR was a full on guitar attack. MT was all business, no dancing around and an extended solo during the speed up part. The whole show was very guitar driven. I only heard the brass during their solos.

The Katy Perry appearance wasn't as bad as I feared ahead of time, and Ronnie did some nice solo work during the song.

Good to see Lisa back in the spotlight for GS, as she should be; although she now shouts a little more where her voice used to soar.

I don't agree with those that say Keith is not playing during his two songs. He plays a hell of a lot, just pausing a couple times while singing. He was very engaged during Happy, even adding some riffs during the outro.

Great solo from Ronnie during YCAGWYW.

I noticed several interactions between Mick and Keith, most notably when they were out on the catwalk together during SFTD.

More twemtysomethings then I expected in the cheep seats. I talked to several of them and they all love the stones and know the songs. Like the rest of us, they were amazed by Jagger and his endless energy.

Absolutely storming, best of the current shows and light and day between this and London and New York versions. Taylor's throwing in some different scales, Micks voice seems far stronger than the last gig and i even love it when Charlie misses the beat and has to recover. Best Rambler since who knows when.
