Katy looks like the cartoon chick in the video they play during Honky Tonk Woman.... She makes perfect sense as a guest LOL! She was sitting in the same row I was at the December 13 show when then boyfriend John Mayer guested on Respectable. Maybe she's been lobbying since then....

Just sat in our $85 seats. All the way in the back opposite of the stage 4 rows from top. Sec 202 row n and row s (last row) surprised to find its actually a good stage view. Pit is about half full

Guys... atleast she can sing. Gwen is by far the worst guest they have ever had. She did TERRIBLE. Katy Perry is bad music and bad entertainment, but if she sings on Gimme Shelter she will do a great job.
As for the Stones organization and their angle..? If there is anything we know, it is about generating sales/buzz by any means necessary. Apparently it is easier to add in celebrity guests than lower ticket prices. Their pride is something to behold.

I remember in 1977 sitting in 2nd row for Fleetwod Mac (Sin City 77 Rumours tour) at the MGM. gawd what an awesome shoe. the seats were red velvet and rockin but we were standing and dancing. good times craziness and all the people I was with that night are now dead. In 1978 I was in 4th row for Aerosmith but the rest of the night is a blank.. Tartougas at drive thru and major car accident afterward. I got a job as a waitress in the theatre afterwards. The Memories!
