I had a feeling someone would post this at some point. This is by far one of my favorite moments in rocknroll history. ALL TIME. We do not get anything like this EVER with the Stones. Sound mix is perfect. We can actually HEAR the guitars. Too much fun... There is nothing better than Keith Richard playing a Chuck Berry song.

Hey, I'm in the MGM, 11am and I was down in the stage / back room area just talking to a person on staff and I mentioned how I would love to have Chuck Berry show up and the guy tells me
"I've already heard that CHUCK BERRY IS the person playing tonight"
Could it really be true? !!!

Kinda has Special meaning for me because many years ago in 1976 I was a young lad and Chuck Berry was doing his individual touring around the country, he played for me and a group of about 40 sailors and local kids in a bowling alley in Idaho Falls Idaho. I was in the navy nuclear power program and in Idaho to qualify on a land based reactor before going to sea on a submarine to operate one.

well it's definitely possible, he doesn't have a show booked until his usual weekly gig at his club in St Louis next week. i bet he is demanding jagger pay him in cash before he goes onstage.

A quick glance at his concert agenda says no 'other' gigs on the list... That would be killer!
