I wouldn't be surprised if there's a live album from this tour consisting of nothing but the special guest numbers.

you'll be surprised, then, when there isn't....cos there won't be....

But just think how many potential buyers there would be, assuming every fan of every one of the special guests just has to have one.

ok, i thought of that. sorry - still won't happen.

After witnessing the greatest musical experience of my life at Jazzfest in New Orleans, I have one suggestion for the Rolling Stones; before recording (hopefully) your next album, spend a weekend in New Orleans and soak up the music....and be inspired again.

A Bigger Bang is a great album, so I really hope they do another one. Would love some more tracks in the vein of Infamy, Laugh I Nearly Died, It Won't Take Long, and Dangerous Beauty. Just need to get Ronnie involved in song writing and even a lead vocal. Get Bobby on a few tracks as well.

These songs are so "great" that not one of them is played live by the band.

Only pure Blues & fast Rockers!

Only raw - 2 or 3 Takes - Versions,
no studio producer orgies
Could be done fast...

Full album with Mick Taylor!

Guests like Ry Cooder, Jack White, Black Keys, many Bluesmen...

It could really be a real companion to albums between 1968-1976!

totally disagree cowboytoast.abb was an excellent record, take off the 4 weakest songs and it stands its own with any.also doom and gloom is great.i do agree there production is appaling last 15 years but the potential is there.as far as the apology mick could give a crap.

It's been pointed out before that the current contract, while mentioning new material, did not mention new studio albums. Finishing up outtakes and throwing together two new GRRReat songs is likely all we'll get.

and it's all we deserve. just look at us.

Indeed !

we're a wretched pile of lost souls following a washed-up group of has-been rockers bilk us for every last cent. we deserve NOTHING.

As Clint Eastwood said in Unforgiven, "deserve's got nothing to do with it".
