People who can afford it. Washington DC is one of the wealthiest areas in the country, trust me there will be plenty of people who want to just get their tickets and don't care about the cost. It's just skimming some gravy off the top of their incomes.
I saw them at the the verizon center on their last tour, there were many DC insiders in the crowd as I am sure there will be this time around.
As for me, I'll be stressing out with the rest of the peons trying to get the $85 tickets on Monday.
Well I can be pretty dumb, but I didn't mean to imply that you are headly123, just my somewhat sarcastic sense of humor.
Here's hoping we both get those cheap tickets and great seats too.
Show's still several weeks - and couple of playoff series - away.
If there is a conflict, date will likely move to June 25, as there are events scheduled on June 22 and 23.

Don't know about the curfew question but the sound (floor seats) was excellent for The Who last November.

Noticed on the TM site,'prices subject to change'.
Obviously means, 'Price will plummet eventually after you few rich people buy the tix in the pre-sale.'
Don't know if they originally had that disclaimer for the other gigs.

is there a curfew at the verizon center. The last show there acoustically sucked at the b stage. The speakers were stacked in the middle of the floor and the feedback was incredible. I hope they can figure something else out this time. The place is not designed very well for sound.

Thanks lostbrook. good to know. I doubt there is a curfew its in the middle of downtown. The metro stop is Gallery Place/Chinatown on the Red line. conveniently located to restaurants and portrait gallery.
