I like them every other record.
Saw them twice 89 and 95 in Hampton Va.
I thought they were great!
Monster is (imo) a vastly underrated album.
Also I liked Green.
This new album lost me.

Not so much because there really isn't any black bands anymore. Black artists are either solo acts or rap groups and everyone knows that they are either posing (P Diddy) or singing about the 'hood and that gets old pretty quickly. I think thier shelf life isn't long enough for them to get to that point. Of course LL CoolJ is still having fun and sounds great. Who else is there in terms of a black "band or a black "group" like PFUNK or EWF or Brick or even Vernon Reids band? I can't seem to think of any.
