Does anyone know iF they are selling $85 tickets directly from the box office on the day of the show? Anyone get some at Staples on Friday - and if so, about what time did you get them?
Or today in Oakland ?

I don't think they are but if it's a clusterf*ck like the Staples you may be able to flash some ID and get a free pair.

Really? Were they not checking very well?- how did that work, anyway?

Look through the Staples thread for the details. Sounds like they were overwhelmed by the amount of $85 tix and starting handing them out just to get the line over with. It's a pretty big gamble though to wait in line and hope the person at the counter is frazzled right when you show up.
You may be better off checking the ticket drop thread going live right now.

I haven't read much about the ticketing, other than prices of course, so I don't know exactly how it works. But how would that flash ID thing for a free ticket work? Wouldn't that mean somebody already paid for that ticket, and they would show up looking for it? I'm sure they would be given a ticket and not shut out, but wouldn't they know exactly where to find your ass? Or is this all really that anonymous and clusterf$%ked?

Yeah they sold some tix at the box office at Staples, DrBryant wasn't happy with his 85ers and went to the desk and scored some good $600 tix.

With a show that's not sold out it's in AEG's best interest to keep good seats available for sale at the box office.

Having said that you'll certainly have piece of mind if you can score some tix in the current "drop".

I am just hoping if I go down to box office early in the day, they will have $85 tickets available like on Ticketmaster--- or do I sit at home on computer and hope I can score the $85 ones when they randomly drop them back in the system- what's my better chances, I wonder?
If I know for sure that some people actually got $85 at box office on day of- then I would for sure go that route- just trying to find out! :-)

Hey halloween ,

You might not score some 85's but for the past two hours I have been pulling up tickets on ticketmaster for tonights show at slashed prices some lower bowl seats are now going for $170 they were at least $450 yesterday. check out the oakland live update thread or the Oakland ticket drop thread.
