Here in Oakland for the show.

I just wanted to tell people that are interested, that, while I'm in my hotel, I've been scanning for info about guests tonight, went on the RS website and saw the $85 ticket link. I clicked from my @#$%&, and it wouldn't allow $85 ticket purchase. So I clicked on "upper level" for section, then chose the $238 ticket option....Sec. 102 (or 105?) row 2, for two seats came up. These were originally $600.00 tix. So, if you're in town and don't have tickets, and don't want to chance $85, or can't get them..great seats available for a good price.

$85 link brings up all tix except $85................at the moment.

Maybe the $85 tix,when they appear, will be pit ,floor seats or other good ones,or up on the top floor rear end.
You take yer chance............and hope for the best.


They will happen soon I'm sure.

Where's the friggin' excitement? You people in Oakland (and I assume the Bay Area) are getting ready to see the greatest rock stage band of all time. And they sound great!

They'll sell at that price - probably what they should have been priced at from day 1. I just arrived in Oakland, it's a little bittersweet. I'll be in the pit tonight for what I suspect may be the last Stones show for me. It's been a long time and over 40 shows since a 12-year old rode his bike to HIC Arena in Honolulu to buy 1 stones ticket. I'll be at Hyde Park on 7/13, just to be there, but don't plan to fight the crowd for 10 hours, so this is my last real show. I would tink that they would do one last set of shows in Japan, but I'm not counting on it. It's been a great ride.

Tonight the Rolling Stones play Oakland's Oracle Arena, and there will be a special guest!

I've have a question from Miami Hopefully they will play Ft Lauderdale or Miami even though Ft Lauderdale is the nicer venue. bv suggested that there will be a second leg and perhaps a more extensive tour next time around.

Ok. To preface this question, the UCLA marching drummers opened in L.A. Does this lead to the possibility of the Oakland Raider Cheerleaders will follow suit? It may be a nice surprise even if they're off-beat. Also they will not be required to wear masks depicting tour costumes. Why not let them play in "Football Stadium Attire?" Only a keen suggestion!

Let's hope he/she can blend in with the Rolling Stones on stage........live.

My "write-in" choice for tonights special guest would be Oakland's own guitar hero, Joe Satriani to remind Keith how the leads are to be played.

Neil young on wild horses would be cool. He lives in the Bay Area.

I have no idea if Satriani resides in that metropolitan area. But that is a great idea! However, no offense , but isn't that comparing riffs to lead? When Mick Taylor is at hand -Is it necessary?

Keith has Mick Taylor for that. As to Satriani, hmmmm....

3 days ago John Meyer played a surprise open mic night in San Francisco for 30 people (look for hotel Utah video). I'd think he's the guy for tonight.
