Stones in Hyde Park 2005

Will they play in the park? In a previous tread I said NO WAY, but Dieter Hoffmann mentions it in the new Basement News. Usually he's right! So maybe we'll see Jagger in a nice dress again!

They could put the stage in the middle of the Diana Memorial Fountain, to keep Mr. Elton happy...

Shrimp, I stick with your opinion in the previous thread: no way. Would it be a free concert, I suppose. Do you see the Stones doing a free concert nowadays? And if it's not free, they must hire about ten thousand security guards to avoid people getting inside without ticket...

@bruno: There have been lots of concerts in Hyde Park the last years - and NO free concerts. The Red Hot Chili Peppers played there last year and even put out a live album of it. So if they can do it, the Stones could do it for sure.

Again someone else gave me the guarantee that a show will be in the Park this summer(diff. source). It will be a free concert, but you do need tickets.....
