"Headin for the Overload"

A friend of mine sent me this disc today. It came with no cover art. It sounds like Brussels 73 and at the end of the second disc it has an interview with Mick, Charlie, Peter Cook , and Dudley Moore talking about IORR. What can people tell me about this disc. It sounds like it was suposed to be a radio broadcast or something.

Original Totonka release was limited to 3000 copies.

Empire Pool, London - September 9 1973

All other tracks Brussells - October 17, 1973

Disc one - from entire KBFH broadcast Nov 24 1974

Because of broadcast overlapping Brown Sugar,Street Fighting Man, Angie, Midnight Rambler are repeated twice.

this is one of the few I have...I think its good, especially "Dancing with Mr. D'... also a very interesting version of Gimme Shelter...the intro seems to have a lot of confusion, as if Charlie couldn't hear....but then it turns out great!

ps thanks Rockman, I wasn't sure about when and where the tracks were from!

I have the same one. It's Brussels and a bit of London. Great boot, fantastic recording!!!! I love Dancing with Mr. D, Heartbreaker, Angie and YCAGWYW. Taylor playd some awesome solo's on those songs. You see i love Taylors guitar work Edward Twining and Open G';-)

I think the saxophone on YCAGWYW made this song the best. First an fantastic solo and then beatifully followed by the sax solo.

Cheers,
Wuudy

Keith's guitar on Brown Sugar is also great. He is really tight. Heartbreaker is really cool too, I love the wah wah.
