Yes ... stream the club show live on the internet!
When my friend Mick Jones was playing with Gorillaz, they gave away tickets to a warmup show right in the rehearsal space in Burbank. What I doubt is that it would be anywhere they had to bring in extra sound for, which is why I'd figure it otherwise to be an AEG run room. I remember when they cancelled a club show in Sacramento that they were busing us to because it leaked.
That settles it. Look for Shuggie Otis to come down with a mystery affliction tomorrow.
That's a thought, could it be that new song they've been playing at rehearsals that no one recognized?
I doubt they're going to announce a secret show before it's sold out, imagine the stampede? Anyone remember what they did for Trabendo?
I hope so too. This is the best thing they can do for their fans. While I'm offended by the high ticket prices, I think the releases of Exile, Some Girls, Brussels Affair, etc. have been amazing.
However, since they are in their $$$ mode right now, I'm sure whatever they have to announce will be focused on getting the significant inventory of unsold tickets to sell. Still think it would be a great idea to stream a dress rehearsal at a club live on the Internet for free.
I'd even settle for last year's Stonesarchive recordings on CD, but apples have more chance of growing on ivy trees. While I have all the archive downloads, and have burnt them to CDR, I would love some nice liner notes and comments by the guys, but I doubt it'll happen. I don't think a new album is on the way either, and I could do without a pay per view concert.

It's already April 27th so the tour starts in only 7 days. It MUST be the announcement of the warm-up show that may take place 8 hours later or so. Consequently they would still have time for another small & sponsored gig like Mogador 2012 the next days.

But if you get the urge to check out any of these places, be discrete. A bit strange for the warm-up gig is all this attention on twitter @GRRRegory and now Ronnie as well. Doesn't fit if you ask me. They don't want total chaos but just the true (iorr) fans being nervous and people who can run very hard.
