The announcement will be that Mick Taylor has replaced Chuck Leavell as musical director and Matt Clifford has replaced Chuck Leavell on keyboards

It's a new world. Using Twitter with GRRRegory is the perfect avenue to announce something like this.

I also bet it's the warm-up show. Right, they NEVER announce those.......UNTIL the tickets are being sold and people are lined up for blocks.

If I were in LA right now, I'd be listening to local radio stations.

In Toronto, the Stones got scooped by a radio station (for the Phoenix Theatre) and the station blabbed well in advance. At least 12 hours in advance.

would be a great move if it was a club show and they streamed it live over the internet... great way to get some buzz going about this tour, and great gesture to their fans. outside of IORR i don't hear anyone talking about the tour, and we all know how the fans feel about the limited scope of the tour and high prices.

Gotta be a club show for Saturday night announcement. Four tweets in a row by Grrregory two mentioning Saturday (song lyrics) and one mentioning
"Located somewhere in Los Angeles, California.."

The El Rey is run by AEG. So is Club Nokia but that's a rather plastic venue with not very good sound, much like the little O2. I'd put a buck on the El Rey.

My sister says maybe the Fonda...

Since they only have 17 concerts confirmed ,and were supposed to have 18,I think
there will be another concert.My guess is that it will be in Las Vegas.

I hope for the release of a new electronic single, later to feature in the setlists.

All seat prices slashed to $85 & the difference refunded to all who have paid more so far!

They're taking the show to IORR ..... the Stones play Kilimanjaro. BV need not travel any more, no more cheap nasty flights and cheap nasty hotels !!

All ticket prices will be increased an additional 85 dollars.

There are literally a hundred places they could have it. It doesn't have to be a room you have heard of either.

But if you get the urge to check out any of these places, be discrete. No one is going to tell you anything before 12:30 and driving slowly by and staring and peeking in windows while wearing Stones garb runs the risk of torpedoing the show altogether. If there is a show. Which I swear I know nothing about. But my knowledge of the club scene is a bit more extensive than what I have seen posted on every single Stones board.
