I'm really surprised people haven't mentioned The Who in this thread, as they are usually at the top of everyone's "too old to rock n roll". Not my feeling, mind you, as I saw their Quadrophenia and More tour last year, and I cannot recommend it enough. They are also continuing with this tour into the summer.

Because they are not on the list of the shows that the TS may want to go see this summer.

If they can still pull their own crowds (lot of different tastes here) and can play, why retire?

From what I've seen on fairly recent DVD, Muse still puts on a VERY good show.

Muse are amazing live, the stages alone are incredible.
