Unfortunately one has only 45 days from the payment date to open a dispute.
Well, he can try it anyway. I did in a few cases and succeed.
On the other hand it's also his fault as well not to have reacted within that period.
Just gave him a fair chance to send them.
I will post here if the CD's will arrive, or he will return the money.

I have bought Stones-bootlegs since the early seventies (That's more than 40 years now!) so I think I have a bit experience about that. But I think 1/3 year is too long to wait. I have NO problems with Gilles. He told me why when I posted here, an answer I was missing in private mails. And I have no reason to not belive him, I have ordered from him before without problems. It's all about trust I think. If your adress was not hidden, I had sent you a private mail about this, not on the net. (2 different ways to see things without the public) English is not my native language - but as far as I can see "Be careful" is not over the line.
And I think it's important to give a message back that everything is OK after starting this tread., when I recived the cd's today
Anyway, I think more than 4 months is too long to wait.

I have to agree - why retitle the thread, it looks like one must be careful when buying from him. And, to reiterate the point made by Crumbling Mice - why is anyone paying for bootlegs these days, when they are available for free, usually as flac and with artwork? I've downloaded hundreds of bootlegs for free, and I don't think I've paid for one since the late 90s.
You could change the title to " Complaint about an order delay - bootleg".
Certainly don't change it if you still feel slighted. I had thought 'all had been forgiven' given your glee at receiving the item, but obviously I was wrong.
BTW, how is one supposed to 'be careful' on an order that arrives late? I think 'be patient' would be a more accurate description for your concern...your other description leads one to believe something 'shady' is going on.

I ordered the two arenashows from O2 last year from Gilles 13 december 2012 and paid for them via PayPal the same day.
I also gave a friend of mine his adress and he ordered them a cople of days later (When he was home again from the Newark-shows)
None of us have received them, but both of us get new mails to buy more stuff.
We got mails 2 jauary, 16 february, 28 february, 10 march and 30 march.
When I asked for the records in a mail (16.January)I got an answer that he has been busy and had to reimport them again Then I asked again in new mail 9 feb,28 feb, 20 march and 30 march. The same has also my friend done.
Here is a copy of my last mail - also without an answer.

Sorry to hear that and I hope he eventually sends the boots out to you. Why pay for them in the begining though? It's an easy process to download just about any bootleg you require and they usually have the art work, but there are lots of artwork sites.
I don;t agree with paying for bootlegs and they will have downloaded them for free I bet and thus are exploiting people

Sometimes, it takes months to recieve the CDs from Gilles.
BUT - they always arrive, eventually. Gilles is an honest guy
If you don't care for waiting any longer, ask for a refund; and he'll give you that.

Yeah, agree with Erik. In the past I've found stuff from Gilles has taken quite some time but it has always arrived eventually. I understand your frustration, but I'm sure he's not intentionally jerking you around, for what it's worth.
