I'm a bassist myself but I've also met the guy, genuinely down to earth and was happy to chat to fans;

Bill

I don't like popularity contests, and besides I can't choose. So I'll go with what I tell my kids when they ask who is my favorite:

you are my favorite Mick Jagger,
you are my favorite Keith Richards,
you are my favorite Charlie Watts,
you are my favorite Ron Woods

etc.... smiling smiley

Mick Jagger has grown leaps and bounds as a person during his very public life. He has maintained a high level of health and fitness in an industry that's designed for the opposite. I can't think of moment where he's not trying to overachieve and please his audience. I'd love to have a cup of tea with him once again but I know he's crazy busy. Instead I'd like breakfast with Ronnie, who's a true gentleman and light hearted. Keith is intimidating, like John Lennon and I'm scared to death of Charlie and sure I'd stick my foot in my mouth if I met him.

i never had a fave stone.

always saw the stones as a team effort not just individuals.

every stone was important to the success of the band albeit some more than others but we cant leave anyone out, they all played their part, as did all the back up musicians and session musicians.

We love them all! Each has a special place in our hearts. Mick, Keith, Charlie, Ronnie, each so different but so vital.
