The WEBsite is indeed quite a mess (intentional perhaps...??) It said that Boston was TBA - then sold out - and now it again says TBA....

Don't count out the tongue pit just yet. Those numbers are just Ticketmaster-speak to track sales.
General Admission tickets for other events purchased through Ticketmaster have included row and seat number information.
Didn't see that, must have posted at the same time. Would be great if we can hope for something truly good! But at 1000 tickets per show they won't be able to cram everybody into the pit, some will have to be in the cheap unsold seats - I don't mind, will happily go with low expectations in terms of seating for that price.

I just had a look at my receipt and on there it says section TBA, row 8, seats 23,24 - so this is unlikely to be in the Tongue Pit but not all the way up under the roof either.

I bought 2 85 dollar tickets and then I purchased two more thinking I would bring 3 of my friends in total. But with this escorting of ticket holders into the venue business and "no transfers of tickets" allowed, as stated on the Stones site, I wonder if I just screwed up my plans. Hmm.... I shouldn't have been able to purchase tickets twice if I'm not allowed to do that. Shit. I hope it works out.
Does anyone here have any experience with this type of ticket policy?

Thank you Tony Z...followed your link...for $85 I'm in for Toronto. But for you others in TO...you won't see it on the ticketmaster.ca...I had to change my profile to USA location and buy them on .com site. I think these are not available locally...
