What about Steve Earle doing Sweet Virginia. He looks only slightly younger then they do.

How about John Hiatt on Salt Of The Earth

Lets get Brad Paisley to do Far Away Eyes

Call in Peter Wolf to help out on All Down The Line

Then get...

It will never happen, but I think a cast of Stones lookalikes would be a lot of fun:

For the Mick duets:

Special guest on guitar:

And they could do a Faces number with this Ronnie Woodalike:

But instead they'll trot out a list of today's big-name lightweight pop singers whose musical style has nothing at all to do with The Stones.

Please no guitarists, let Mick Taylor play. No one does as good a job with Gimme Shelter as the girl that's been on tour forever with the band. Mary J ruined hers, Gaga was ok, the English girl was pushy but did her homework. Mick cannot help himself it seems but I'm never bored with the regular blokes.

Yes, completely agree. Aside from former members of the band, who have an innate chemistry with the presentation of the set list, the other big-name guests just bugger the momentum of a show, are just an interruption that you would just fast-forward through if you had an audio CD or video DVD. We want The Rolling Stones after all, rather than Mick Jagger's acknowledgment that he knows who the current big names are in the industry, who, I might add, have not earned the right to be there on the same stage as "the boys".

"We" have Mick Taylor...so, no need for guests...but if I had to name three: David Bowie (won't happen), Bob Dylan and Chuck Berry

As long as they keep awful artistes lick Kiss, Aerosmith, Lady Gaga and other pathetic wannabes away then I'd be happy with a few decent guests.

As long as they don't bring back Justin Timberlake.
Mind you, there is that other Justin I suppose. I'd like to see him running through Midnight Rambler...

Why these artists? Neither is from Harlem, or anywhere else in New York.
