Boy, Fallon has gotten good; I don't watch TV that much, and haven't (I think) ever seen a J. F. show; but he is confident.
And Keith looks very good in the coat; he also seems to be getting down to his fighting weight again.

Second part, about minute 4: Does this mean Mick Taylor is going to play THE WHOLE show with them?

That interview made it sound like MT will join the band for more than just Midnight Rambler.

Keith said essentially the same thing in his Chicago Sun Times interview, and Ronnie also hinted at it in his recent Absolute Radio interview.

Does sound like MT will have a more prominent role in these upcoming shows.

That would be really special for Mick T to play the entire show! Whew, that really could be incredible. Fallon really makes a major mistake saying "I Saw Her Standing There"! Keith just brushed it off... seemed embarrassed to correct him.

Fantastic - the guitar part will be much stronger.

That will make me buy consert tickets to Hyde Park 13/7.

Imagine if they spent time in a recording studio for a new album.

Yeah I don't know why they are giving Fallon The Tonight Show. He's funny sometimes but he isn't Tonight Show material.

The interview with Keith last night was great.

Was it an interview? Because it seemed like most of the beginning was just fallon giggling and fawing over Keith on like a 13 year old fangirl, blathering and blathering... not much of Keith saying anything... but that is Fallon's style when he is star struck, as he is so often. Then the middle/end was just Fallon blathering how everyone must go go see the Stones, giggle giggle, teehee teehee. I can no longer stand to watch Fallon's crap show. I did for a while, but his girlish giggling, pureile, style is hard to watch.

And yes, it too is beyond me why NBC executives are firing the guy with the top ratings in late night and giving his show to Fallon, the seem to be the idiots which Leno has said they are. Top rated show means top rated show, why fix something that is not broken? Watch for Fallon to move to TBS in 2015, when they bring Leno back, again, to save the show.

Fallon's audience is younger people. That's why he's getting the Tonight Show slot.

Leno is about as funny as a pile of burning puppies and cornier than a turd in Nebraska, but there he's been for all these years.

Leno wasn't fired. His 2 year contract is expiring. This was in the cards all along.

Yeah but I remember watching Johnny Carson when I was a teenager and loving him. If you are funny the young people will tune in.

Jon Stewart would be better for The Tonight Show than Jimmy Fallon.

Regarding the Fallon's interview Keith said The Rolling Stones haven't started rehearsing yet in the US. I think he says next week;that will leave them 3 weeks to get ready for May 2th. That's not a lot of time which may means that the setlists for the US shows will be similar to the ones in 2012.Hopefully not too similar.
Rock and roll,

That was pretty amateur, but I think we have to give him a point for remembering "Bridges To Babylon".

I hope Mick t is on a long set. It should help fire up Keith and Ronnie provided Keith and mj dont tell MT too cool it. Light a fire under KR and RW! Insecurity may be the good motivator to change things up.

Go Dawgs!

Somebody in Belgium was referring to that tour as the Rivers of Babylon tour. And not as a joke.
So it could be worse.

It's a shame about Bill Wyman, though. Perhaps if he had only accepted the invite to the U.S. shows, and bit the bullet and not been complaining to the press about being asked to do just 2 shows, then perhaps he, too, could be getting more time on stage with the upcoming shows, rather than not being involved at all. It would have been a treat for fans to have all 6 surviving Stones onstage at once.

Surprising that Bill said he was willing to play those US dates as he's known to have a fear of flying, and expressed that when rumors circulated around last summer's 50th anniversary - “I don’t fly, so there’s no way I’ll go on any tour."

He hadn't been to the States for several years. Or maybe it really was only a few months. ;-)
