There are tons of tickets available for both shows in Boston. I don't think a lot of people are going. Any thought on this. Do you think the tickets will seel before the shows?

Guess I'll wait it out and get a pricey ticket for less than face value....I'm trying to be optimistic. The problem is hotel prices in Boston....at the cheapest, it's over $200 a night and with the day off between shows, you must stay 3 nights ( that's if you go to both shows). That's $600+ with nothing else....tickets, food, travel expenses put this well over $1200. YIKES! Anyone feeling rich??

$85 tickets are listed as SOLD OUT on rollingstones.com, but you never know when more might pop up. Here's links to both shows.

June 12 - [www.ticketmaster.com]

June 14 - [www.ticketmaster.com]

Check out lodging in the suburbs. Plenty of less expensive hotels located near a "T" station. Green Line will take you right to North Station/TD Garden.

Good luck!

Does anyone know fine details of seating plan???

I'm pulling floor tickets in section A and C, Row 11 for Boston Garden. Seats in Section C were seats 3-4.

The Floor Plan shows sections A and C to be narrow in first rows, due to tongue stage, such that one end of row 11 would be very close to the tongue stage, the other end, not so close. The question is, how do the seat numbers run? Is seat #1 towards the middle of the floor in floor sections A and C, or is seat #1 near to the side, near the loge seats?

I don't know, SLEW, but I doubt that it won't sell out by show time. Boston is a huge Stones town...by the way, I still need a single ticket to either show, June 12 or 14, or BOTH. It looks like Tommyquinn chooses to ignore me, and so the search continues. Someone must have an extra $85 seat? My email is above, thanks in advance!

Mickschix - If I an extra I'd offer it up. I got shut out on the 85 dollar tickets. I bought 450 for both shows (what a dummy) by showtime I am just going and have fun.

I am not ignoring you, mickschix. I have extra $85 tickets to both Boston shows, but i don't want to wait until day of show to get paid. If I do that and the other person doesn't show for whatever reason, there is no easy way to sell these tickets/voucher seats last-minute, with all the restrictions and getting escorted in and all that. I want to have it all set up beforehand and have one less thing to worry about on show day. You don't want to do that, and I understand that completely, but please don't say I am ignoring you, because I am not. Even though the tix are only $85, I have 4 of them to sell which is around $400. I can't afford to be out that kind of money.

I never said I would not send $$ before the show. When did you respond to me? You never did, this is the first time I'm hearing about this. I STILL don't know WHO you are or if you're going by the another name.
I received an email after I posted here about needing an $85 ticket. Someone who goes by the name CLAMATTO 36 said he would sell his extra ticket to me...and then when I suggested we SPEAK on the phone to iron out the details, he said " That's a deal breaker..I don't talk on the phone!" Was that YOU?
Needless to say, I have never heard anyone refuse to speak on the phone so I seriously doubted the legitimacy of the deal.
OK, so if you want to start over, could you please email me ( address above). I don't do deals with anyone I don't feel secure about! Call me crazy, but I too need to protect my $$.

Wow, Tommy! You have 4 to unload? I thought you just had a ticket to pass along. I'm tempted to take one of those off your hands. Let me know if I can email you if you're having a tough time getting rid of these.... Either the 12th or 14th is fine, just one for myself if you have it.

Hi mickschix,
Wow, I totally forgot about the different name on my e-mail account, I am sorry, I just (stupidly) assumed you knew I was tommyquinn from here. Sorry about that. I'm the guy who hates talking on the phone, I spend all day at work on the phone and refuse to do it at home, it feels too much like work. Even my friends and family know not to try to get me on the phone except emergencies, so it is nothing personal. My phone at home probably has dust all over it, it gets used so seldom.
So anyway, you have my e-mail, I have the vouchers for the tickets- so it's up to you.

Hello Tommyquinn!! Too funny! You know, it occured to me that you might be Clamatto but I really started to doubt it! I thought you were joking at first when you said you don't talk on the phone, but now that I understand your JOB keeps you on the phone all day, I get it!cool smiley I had a few jobs like that and I wouldn't talk to my best friends once I got home at night.
So, tell me your plan. I don't even own a cell phone, so you and I should get along fine.( I do have to buy one before the Stones shows so I can call home etc and in case of emergencies.) I do want one of your $85 seats for June 12. We do have to have a plan and I will email you privately. Please don't think I wanted to keep you chatting on the phone for FUN!! Not my style either.Check you home email. Thanks!winking smiley

That pisses me off only because I paid 450.00 for the same seats for both shows. Any chance of a reduction?

Any idea on who the guests might be? Steven Tyler + Peter Wolfe seem like obvious choices.

I haven't heard of reductions, but if they end up selling better seats than you have for the same price, I have heard people who have called ticketmaster and had their tickets exchanged for the better seats.

Still great seats available for both Boston shows.

After having twice walked away from the ticket window empty handed hoping for a $150 ticket, today I finally relented, went to the box office at the venue, and walked away with a $250 loge ticket for the Friday June 14 show.

This is an excellent seat--and I know because it's in exactly the same section where I caught the Who show last November. Which is funny, because while en route to pick up my ticket today, I was hoping I could score a seat in the same place I saw The Who, and, blow and be bold, my Stones ticket is just 7 rows back from where I saw The Who--which means both the view and the sound will be great!

I couldn't be more pleased, because it's a great seat and it wasn't $650 and it wasn't $450, which means I still have enough left over this week to pick up the Crossfire Hurricane DVD as well as beer for Friday and Saturday nights to watch it with.

I won't be doing any song by song reporting from the show, however, as I'll be taking it in the old-fashioned way--just eyes and ears, then home for beers.

This will be my first-time ever show, despite the fact that I have been a serious fan for 32 years, and could have seen them back in '81. Unfortunately, until now, my generation only had the overdone stadium circus show to go to, and I always passed on these because I don't think a football stadium is the right place to take in a rock show, not if you care about the sound of the band.

But now, for my first-time Stones concert, it will be the Boston equivalent of Madison Square Garden, a couple or more songs with Mick Taylor on guitar, then hop on the subway home for beers in the fridge and a pizza in the oven to enjoy my favorite Stones DVDs and post-concert buzz until dawn.

Today, I'm a happy Stones fan and don't mind having donated a General Grant each to Mick, Keith, Ronnie, Charlie, and Mick T. It will be a night to remember....

Stones have played the "new" Garden several times in recent years.

They had been locked into the stadium tour format for so long, I hadn't even bothered to take notice. I know they played the Orpheum Theater in '02, but there was no way of getting a ticket for that. They may also have played the Garden on that tour as well, but never before have such good tickets still been available so many weeks after first having gone on sale. And, of course, this time around, unlike before, the band sound on stage is stripped down and with Mick T. And, most important, I wasn't following IORR back then like I have for the past year, so I haven't been following past tours like I have this one.

They've been playing the TD North ( New Garden) since the No Security Tour, 1999...that was when I first recorded seeing them there. It was called the Fleet Center then. Before that they would play the OLD Foxboro stadium. In 1997, the BTB Tour I saw them outside in that origial Foxboro football stadium and it was October...I froze my butt off! I recall wearing a leopard parka!!

Looks like the Shidoobee's are priming at The North Star before the June 12 show. I hope to share food and beverage with them and IORR's there. I never met any of you but the room should be electric. Thank you Stones for keeping the good times rolling!

Any one think we will see Wooba Gooba with the Green Teeth as the special guest at a Boston Show? I would love to see Peter on stage with the boys, and he has a long history with the glimmer twins. He could sing The Last Time or It's All Over Now with Mick. And then hopefully we get MT as the very special guest at the 2nd Boston show!

This was my first Stones show, that BTB Foxboro one, and that's what finally put the Stones over the top as my favorite band, sinking the Beatles. They opened with Satisfaction, which I had been sure would be the finale. Was blown away. Remember thinking if they can OPEN with this, where the heck is it going to go from here!?! What an amazing concert. Must admit, Boston has always been my faovrite city in which to see them play. I've never seen a bad show there, and all of them rank among my very favorite shows of theirs. Foxboro, Opening Night at Fenway, Gillette Stadium opening night of the 2nd N. American leg following Europe with Paint It Black opening. I'm really bummed that I don't have tix for these shows yet, and am hoping that more $85 ones drop. I just cannot - nor will not - spend more than that these days, MT or no MT. Even though, I'm thinking that by the time Boston rolls around, he'll probably be playing on even more songs....

Yes, I would love to see Peter Wolf on stage with the Stones.. tjhe other obvious choice would be either Joe Perry or Steven Tyler.. then again, I would be very happy with the LA setlist and no guests too.

VOODOO, life is SO short, just bite the bullet and buy a ticket for Boston! I agree with you on the great shows the Stones have always graced Boston audiences with...I was at all of the shows you listed..I live 2 1/2 hours from Boston. You will regret it all of your days if you skip this!
I'm putting all of my eggs and resources into these 2 shows in Boston because it may well be my last time seeing them...I'm sure I'll cry all the way out the door on June 14th....but my dream is that MT plays all the way through these shows and that Steven Tyler is their special guest. On top of that, I pray they do " Love In Vain" w/ MT, also CYHMK, ans Sway along with Moonlight Mile thrown in for good measure. As long as I'm on Dream Street, how about " Let It Loose"?
