Hi,

I'd certainly be interested in buying it if you do happen to have an extra ticket. I just sent you an email. Do let me know.

Thanks

Is this the place to meet up before the shows in Boston?

The North Star
222 Friend St, Boston
[www.northstarboston.com]

Looks like it is one block or so from the venue.
I see it has been suggested here, but I don't know the place.

Comments please? Thanks!

BV, I mentioned with a previous post. It's a nice sports bar but will be a Stones bar on the 12th! I know Shidobees will be there from reading their Boston thread. Never met anyone yet, hopefully on the 12th.

Plenty of tickets left for Boston on ticketmaster for both nights..It amazes me that brokers are trying to sell crappy seats for 100's above face value when there are plenty of tickets for sale at face..people must really be stupid..I have a feeling that at concert time there will be plenty of tickets under face.

I have noticed after the genral public sale for any event on Ticketmaster or any other 1st line ticket outlets that alot of people only check the secondary brokers like Stub-Hub, Ace ticket, Ebay or Craigslist.

I even know some dummies that only try the secondary brokers. So I agree some people are really stupid when it comes to buying event tickets.

Wait until the afternoon of the show and buy on Ticketmaster with better prices on the first show during the week if you base it on what happened in Chicago. They are using Flex pricing and as time went on they moved more and more $600 and $450 face tix into the $250 bracket as they are not selling. I am very confident that you can get a great seat in the $250 bucket that was $450 or $600 the afternoon of the show thru ticketmaster especially on Weds. No need for ticket brokers with this tour. I had great seats for the 1st 2 shows in Chicago for 250 each. You may need to search up to 5 plus times as they try to stick you with side or back stage but there are better seats trust me keep trying. You want to have a least a partial view of front stage to see the big screen behind the boys as effect is great! Hope this helps. Oh and the $150 seats are very hard to get and all at top of stadium if you get one.

The only word of warning is that I suspect that the show on the 14th will sell well in the 2 days before the show and it may be difficult to find cheaper seats near showtime. Just a hunch, though. Second shows tend to be quite popular - it was true for the 2nd London, the 2nd NJ, and the 2nd LA show - and it's on a Friday night with the Sox out of town.

Agree the Friday show you probably need to move a little sooner. Weds will be easier to work it day of. They pull the tix off an hour before show so don't get crazy I would say late morning early afternoon. Friday will be dicey.

I'm guessing Dave Matthews. He's playing Mass. the same week and on different nights...

Never mind Beiber - the way it's going, maybe the New Kids on the Block - they're from Boston!!

someone somewhere had posted the two links to the original $85 ticket purchases for both Boston shows. Would someone be so kind as to post them here for those of us too stupid to save them when I saw them last! Pretty please!!

It's not just the reduced price tickets to look out for ... they release seats which I think are genuinely worth the $625 price, especially if after a single. I just pulled up Row 2 in Loge 13 for Wed ... this is one of the best seats in the house. I think even better than being in the tongue pit.

I bought a similar seat a few hours before Chicago 3, but in Row 9. It was an amazing spot, couldn't imagine better. The ladies next to me said they got their tickets from a broker friend (still had to pay for them), who they say gets them seats to anything they want to go to. That indicated to me a lot of these best seats were initially unavailable to the public. Then many of them get returned to Ticketmaster close to show time.

But you have to keep checking constantly. In the time it took to type this email, that Loge 13, Row 2 seat is not available anymore.

Just checked for curiosity's sake, there must have been a price drop. The selection of singles is great, though a pair seems to put you behind the stage.
