Toronto pre-sale has disappeared from the Ticketmaster.ca website. Perhaps they came to their senses and realized how much criticism they would take in the media if they allowed Americans holding Citibank cards to buy all the pre-sale tickets (since hardly anyone in Canada has one as Citibank does not operate normal banks in this country)

I'm in the Toronto region and will keep watch for ticket opportunities. There must be other IORRians from here as well.

I called American Express yesterday to see about their Front of the Line ticket opportunity with the Stones here in Toronto. They said they wouldn't be doing that because Home Depot was getting those rights in Canada. So, do I get a Home Depot card????

I have a Home Depot gift card from something that I returned but didn't have the receipt for. I wonder if that will work?

What would be great would be that if the show didn't live up to my high expectations, I could make another 'return' and have the ticket refunded back to the gift card.

I got a Home Depot Citibank card through the internet yesterday. They said if I go to the store I can get the account number immediately. I'll be trying to use it. However, the fact the pre-sale isn't on the Ticketmaster.ca site is worrisome. We'll see tomorrow.

I will do my best to find out about any below cost tickets that may show up around town as the show date gets closer and let people know about them.

If anyone is coming in from out of town I'm also happy to suggest some more "rock'n'roll" hangouts close to the venue for those that like to avoid the tourist traps.

Ditto. I'd really rather not miss it but it has to be on terms I'm comfortable with.

I'm also in Toronto, next week, and would attempt to go but sadly, they won't be there yet.

Me to in Toronto and I will be lining up at ticketmaster Monday morning for the 10am sale.

I'm assuming that when tickets go on sale Monday here in Toronto, they can be purchased online. Or do I need to get in line somewhere? Thanks.

Any news on the price-range, yet? The cost of last years London shows was outrageous. I simply couldn't afford it. Money is still tight, but here's hoping I can scrape a few cents together for the nosebleeds!

ticketmaster.ca is listing the price range as:
CA $166.50 (CA $147.25 Ticket + CA $19.25 Fees)
CA $624.50 (CA $597.25 Ticket + CA $27.25 Fees)

When I saw the Stones in Toronto in 1975, I thought my $12 ticket was outrageously expensive. :-)

I'm in Toronto, don't think I will be very happy if I miss out here. I'm willing to bet it will cost more than the entire trip to New Jersey, including air fare and hotel to get a ticket. Ridiculous. Is it payback for all the $10 warm up shows?

Sad but true. I have a limit but I doubt if I will be able to work within it

My one and only plan is to wait till the last minute and find some chump left holding extra tickets and talk him down until he loses enough money to make it worth it for me. After all, It's the Rolling Stones way.

Well, I'm kinda glad I'm not alone, here. When living at home with the parents without a care in the world and no responsibilities, I could afford to throw silly amounts away and attend Rolling Stones concerts - and I did so, gladly. Today though, it's a different story.

Hello - Torontonian here! I'm now spending my time in our home in The Muskokas. I'll leave the tickets to you guys. grinning smiley We're planning to sell our Toronto house, so I'll not be going this time.

Now......IF they do a small gig.....I'll be there with bells on!!

I'm in Toronto too...but like I wrote in another thread...I'm going to wait to see how much Taylor will be involved. There will be a 2nd show in Toronto...that's a lock. Those reasonably priced(!) $166 tickets are all upper balcony. I've seen them from up there before(No Security)...no good for a true Stones fan...everyone sitting down! We snuck down below that time...I don't think you could get away with that now...
