I'll be at the Saturday show and was thinking if any of you IORR-ers are staying in Anaheim over the weekend, you owe yourself a 15 minute drive to the beach.
I'm in Laguna Beach and could plan something for Thursday or Friday night if there are any takers.
2 or more people and I'll set it up.
This place has pretty decent Mexican food.

Disneyland is cool for the kids. And Honda Center is cool because our favorite band will be there!!!
Yeah, in about 48 hours there's no place on earth I'd rather be than lovely Anaheim!!! lol
The Ayres Hotel directly across the street is actually pretty nice.
And Disneyland (along with many big name hotels) is only about a mile or two down the road?
Last time I was down there for a concert we pre-partied at JT Schmidts across the street from Honda Center, but it gets crowded fast.
And I think there's a Bob's Big Boy somewhere around there.

I work the 18th. Are you going to both shows?
Ok so this is your FIRST Stones concert AND you're in the Tongue Pit?
I should tell you now to start getting mentally prepared for what's about to happen, but I don't want to ruin the fun.
By no means am I a veteran at this. (Have been to 4 shows starting in 2006.) But will say I walked out of my first live show and thought "what was my life like before this?" I think you'll know what I mean in about 48 hours.
And to answer your question I'll be there just for the 18th show. I work on the 15th so can't make it.
Really look forward to hearing from you after your pit experience! Something tells me you will have a good time.

The Anaheim Ducks are available - they're done.
I might have been tempted to buy those the day tickets originally went on sale at the $280 price...great seats.
They certainly overestimated how much people would be willing to pay in the beginning, hence the ticket drops and price slashing.
Maybe by tomorrow they'll drop down to $150! >

Still no word on special guests, but it looks like the Ducks also lost out on getting a Stones shirt.
Other than the "50 Years" concept, very similar design to what they had for either Licks or Bigger Bang I think (tongue w/baseball).
I was kind of looking forward to a Duck with a Stones tongue! Oh well....go Angels!
