The hunt for Anaheim @ $85 went fast this morning: bought a pair for May 18, then got May 15, all in less than 10 minutes. Best price deal since those ca. $50 Wiltern seats.

Same here, and was also able to throw in a pair of $85's for the 2nd Staples show as well...all within 10 freakin' minutes!
Whether I'm in a nosebleed, behind the stage, or miraculously in the Pit, I'm psyched about this NOW!

Regarding the Wiltern show, wasn't able to be there, but did get tix for Utrecht Vredenburg, Stockholm Cirkus, and London Astoria...
don't remember the exact prices, but they were all around the $50-$75 price range
On the other hand, I paid apprx. $1,000 for the Joint in Vegas during same tour. confused smiley

I got two $85 tickets for 5/18, but it took about 20 minutes for that option to show up, and then a few attempts with nothing available,
Years ago I would have gone immediately for "Best Available" but I have no interest in paying $600+ for a ticket, and I figured if I'm settling for nosebleed seats anyway then I might as well get them for $85 instead of $175.
I have no illusions that we're going to end up with great seats, I'm just happy to see them one more time.

Is there a pre-show bar already nailed down or can some of you locals make a few suggestions? Hoping there will be at least a few bars going all out. I'll be there for the Saturday show on the 18th.

This this usually where I go...right across the street from Honda Center.

JT Scmid's

Indoor and outdoor seating, but gets crowded fast as you can imagine.

Beer Menu smileys with beer

Nothing else in the immediate area (walking distance to venue) as far as I know, but haven't been down there in a while.

I live pretty close to Anaheim (Huntington Beach) and there are several bars/restaurants close to the Honda Center. The Catch, Hooters (not my favorite) and Tilted Kilt. Also OC Grill and they will likely have a shuttle to the show (pretty far to walk). JT Schmidts will be too crowded it is right across the street. Any other locals have a preference? We can coordinate.

Maybe Tilted Kilt works the best. Walking distance maybe 15 minutes and it is a fun Irish themed bar.

Also If anyone has an extra $85 ticket for the first show at Honda Center I am interested in buying. Thanks. I will be checking this thread daily.

I'd say apprx. 5-6 hours...and depending on what time you get to L.A. (and the horrible traffric), I'd add at least another hour.
And keep in mind, driving from Vegas toward L.A. on a Sunday can be hectic.

Seems most within walking distance are all sold out. But Disneyland is not far and there are dozens of hotels in that area...just a short cab ride to and from Honda Center.

Yes, the winners and banditos (ha)...but I was also thinking of the hung-over losers.

I was born and raised in Santa Monica which is surrounded by L.A., but 25 years ago I moved about 60 miles north to escape the rat race.
I'm close enough to all that L.A. has to offer, but a world away as far as lifestyle.

Yes, I'll be at both Anaheim shows (along with Staples#2 and Vegas).

And regarding Vegas, didn't I read somewhere you were looking for a spare $85?
If so, I might be able to help.
