Presumably Bon Jovi fans are having the same grief with their ticket deliveries - I guess we are all Livin' On A Prayer........

Sweet Lady ssoul, regarding tier 1 and 2 without the extras:
I was in touch with the support yesterday, and they answered my mail a couple of hours later. My problem was that i payed for International Delivery, and checked my account and saw they claimed to have sent them on the 20th (not received them yet though) But when I checked my receipt in my account, it said COBO (Will call), and the the total sum was deducted by 30£.
When they answered, they said it was an error on the receipt, and the tickets were sent. If i don´t receive them by thursday next week at the latest, I just have to call, support said, and then I can pick them up at the box office.
That worries me of course, I hate to stand in line with probably hundreds or thousands of people, when I payed dearly for a service.
But there are a couple of days left before the Vikings set sail once again for the british isles, so all hope is not yet lost..but I agree it´s a nervewrecking mess...Reminds me of the gigs at Twickenham, when I also payed for delivery, but ended up at the ticket office outside, were they printed new tickets for me after a long discussion. Don´t want to go through that again.

I just realised that I'm in same position. It says that ticket has been sent but total sum is 30 £ less than in order confirmation mail. Shiit.

here is the answer by melissa from barclaycardpayband:

Hi there,

Sorry for the confusion. As you are a non UK resident you will need to collect your payband (which is your entry ticket) on the day when you arrive.

We hope you enjoy the event.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you

Kind Regards

Melissa

does it mean I can get my tickets "on the day I arrive", which is thursday ??? and where ??? I'll ask the question to Melissa !!

I hope I am wrong but I fear she may mean on the day of the concert when you arrive at Hyde Park.

Thanks for posting that, rubyT - can you post the email address that came from?
More of us can write to tell them we need to pick up our tickets a day or two before the show.

Meanwhile, there's some discussion of this problem on the Barclaycard Facebook page.
Some rep is saying "You won't have to queue any longer than if you have your PayBand now.
We've done this to ensure you have no problems or delays attending the event."

She may indeed mean that, in which case we can write and point out that that's not adequate.

Update from the Barclaycard FB page:

"We are currently finalising the arrangements to ensure you will not have to queue any longer than you would normally through the fast track entrance.
I will update you again with more detail once confirmed later today."

Keep sending those FB posts and emails! Maybe we can get through to them.

I can't fathom why it is so difficult to ship out tickets and paybands to customers. It's not like they don't have the sufficient data to do it...

And £30 for handling and shipping? eye rolling smiley

Exactly, one could think that paying such a money for some pieces of paper to be send to your home, there shouldn't be any kind of hassles, or anything to worry about. Now it is the opposite.

Well, I got the expected response from Joe (sorry, you have to collect it on the day of the event)--said that wasn't good enough, and also tried Melissa. I've also got 2 comments going on Facebook. At this point it seems this is all we can do.

Our tier 2 paybands + unwind bar rip-off passes arrived in not so sunny Nottingham today by regular 1st class post (not signed for).

Confirmed with Barclaycard customer services that these replace the tickets. You only have to activate them if you want intend to use them for paying for drinks etc or link them to facebook (!). You don't have to load them as cash will be accepted for your overpriced cocktails in the Unwind Bar. How accurate all of this is, of course remains to be seen...

Hi,
I'm from France I haven't got yet my tickets for tier 2 July 6th.

The receipt has changed : "International COBO - 2.75" / and 30 £ less than my payment.

Can you help me ? What means COBO ? : send by mail in France or I will have to pick them the day of the show ?
Thanks

COBO is their weird term for will-call - it stands for "care of box office".
The more unhappy people who write to them protesting
that we NEED to be able to collect them before the day of the show
the more chance we have of making an impression on them.

Please post a protest on the Barclaycard facebook page: [www.facebook.com]
And/or send emails to barclaycard@thisisdare.com, joe@barclaycardpayband.com and/or melissa@barclaycardpayband.com

Got the ticket for July 6... it arrived today, i live in Holland.
Since i can't go to this gig, i sold the ticket to someone else. it will arrive on time now. UPS is always good.
PostNL(who does all the post here) came with my ticket this morning.
Now waiting for July 13 tickets. Maybe still arrive this week, but probably early next week. Hope i get that one soon, that's the gig i still go too. will be in peace if that one arrives :-)

For tickets that don’t arrive ?

1- A sale based on fraudulent description of the ticket’s location with a false Gold/Diamond circle.
2- Tickets that don’t arrive on time for half of the customers, despite a shipping fee amounting to 30 pounds.

That concert is going to be fun if the quality of the organization stays at the same level !

xxxxx

Payband + lanyard thing with the Unwind bar pass and map + a letter telling you how wonderful it's all going to be...

I think we now discovered why they didn't want to post these internationally. Too cheap to pay (with our money) for the shipping LOL!

I finally phoned this morning as my email went unanswered, and got the same "collect on the day" message.

...and each payband/lanyard was in a separate package (jiffy bag).
