The trouble with Stones shirts--whether bootleg or official--is that they are mostly all the same, just that tongue logo. It would be great to see T-shirts displaying classic album covers--front and back. How cool would it be to have a T-shirt with a nice big image of Between The Buttons across the front, or Hot Rocks, or Tattoo You, so fans could have the option of wearing their favorite Stones era on their sleeve. I personally don't care for that tongue logo myself, and this is why I have never once bought a Stones T-shirt even though I've been a fan for over 30 years. That one-size-fits-all tongue logo reminds me too much of a corporate brand, and like the golden arches of McDonalds it seems at this late stage cliched and unimaginative.

I will not buy a Stones T-shirt unless I see this image on the front:

and this image on the back:

I would also like a T-shirt with this image on the front:

and this image on the back:

And another with this image on the front:

and this image on the back:

You can fairly easily make your own.

If you go to www.zazzle.com and open an account you can upload images and then print off your own.

I advise keeping a low profile there and not allowing others to see/buy what you are doing. They are a bit too tight on possible copyright issues (I had an argument with them on one, which I won in the end).

Is there a dog under all that hair, Ming?? Just kidding, he looks like a very sweet pup. Sorry your Ming is gone now, losing a beloved pet is so hard.

So that's where your moniker comes from, I always just figured you were Asian.

Interesting topic someday, how did IORR members pick their usernames? grinning smiley

Okay, back to shirts.

I know it's not an official concert tee, but I really want this one:

I like the simplier ones better to wear everyday. The vintage concert tees are great to collect.

Instead of t-shirts, what about proper shirts?

Any pics or sources where to buy them?

You know in the Voodoo Lounge CD-ROM, where Mick buys a Stones T-shirt at the side of the road from his limo? Was that T-shirt bootlegged? Funny if it was.

Geisha T-Shirt

That Geisha T-shirt might be the one to get for this tour. I read that it only comes in one size which I think is the point. It is made to fit tight and just so...

or is it Just My Imagination running away with me...

I'm an idiot. The Tokyo Geisha shirt, how do you add it to your cart?

Re: Geisha T-Shirt
Posted by: latebloomer ()

I see it, but I still can't get to it. Something is written in red Japanese letters underneath the shirt, maybe that explains the problem.

Thanks much anyhow, Cristiano. Maybe it will work later or pop up somewhere else.

Both the Geisha shirts are very cool.
