I have to respectfully disagree.
The feel is all wrong unless they were going for "lethargic".
This is not a reggae band, Charlie and Bill don't have the reggae chops and Keith is sluggish.
Mick's melody is wrong as well.

I thought it was merely Respectable...the singer...not the song

... I find Keith's licks brilliant. The way the guitar licks and the bass is tied together is fantastic, and was very inspirational for me as a guitarist back in the day.
Mick was all camp anyway round that time, and poking a little fun in this one, did the song nothing but good, imo.
Finally, the recording of this track is excellent.
The only weak link may be Charlie, but I don't care. There are many styles of music he really doesn't "master", but he always makes it sound like the Stones.
In the "glam-time" of vanity and make up, this one was a breath of fresh air and tossed the band's pompousness out the window, imo

I'll ask once again: why were the Stones on Sanibel Island? For the sole purpose of a photo shoot? That seems incongruous to say the least but I've yet to find an explanation.
I don't know for sure, but I can take a guess. Maybe after finishing the album they wanted to go relax in a bit of a warmer climate before starting the '76 tour. They finished up the album in New York in February, and then shot the cover later that month. It may have not been hot (depending on what you consider hot, but I'm from Texas where we have our own sun) in Florida, but much warmer than New York. A Google search says the average temp on Sanibel during the winter months is 75°F (24°C), which probably seems like paradise after a New York winter. I don't know whether or not they went straight from New York to Florida though. Maybe they were doing something else closer down that way, but still, New York to Fort Myers (which is where I'm assuming they flew to) would only take a couple of hours.

It was more than likely the best place for Keef to score the best grade heroin. He was heavily addicted at this time and the band's logistics more or less revolved around the accessibility of cocaine and heroin for Keith.
