Any chance the Stones will play?

None. Acts are rehearsed for these shows at least a week ahead, so if The Stones were going to be playing, we would have heard about it days ago. Band meeting is in March, rehearsals begin in April, and concerts are played in June/July.

Keith, Bill and Ronnie are apparantly in town?...

Yes, Keith is in town, which must mean something as the others are usually around (or frequently in and out in the case of Mick) - but not him.

I think Keith was primarily in town for the band meeting . Maybe they will turn up to accept an award?

****STONES AT GLASTO ALERT**** Damian Jones asks Ronnie Wood whether they’ll play. ‘We still don’t know but I’d love to. I live in hope. Fingers crossed!” Fingers crossed indeed.

Traditional NME categories.

Saw the nominations and reckon they deserve 'Music moment of the year' and'Best live band'. Should have been nominated and easily won 'Best fan community'.

I might be a bit out of date with that one.I know the younger fans than most of us have varied tastes in music.

IORR is the best and friendliest ,closely followed by Rocks Off and Shidoobee and all our other wonderful Stones fans sites all over the world. >grinning smiley< thumbs upsmileys with beer

“It’s the f*cking Rolling Stones,” says Brandon Flowers as he hands over Best Music Film to Ronnie Wood for ‘Crossfire Hurricane’. And here’s a cool picture Wood and Paul Weller hugging.

The zenith of the night is Ronnie Wood joining Johnny Marr on stage for an epic rendition of ‘How Soon Is Now?’ before ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’.

Of course the Stones won best live band, there was hardly any real competition there at all.
